For what it's worth although the reference model (GZ2000) isn't up yet, we do now have the 55" and 65" GZ1000 series OLEDs from Panasonic available on the eCommerce website for Canadians, can't post employee pricing but obviously no discount yet for consumers.
65" GZ1000 listing, Dolby Vision included - https://shopping.panasonic.ca/produc...161287&lang=en |

Got an e-mail regarding the GZ2000 yesterday. List price in CDN$ is $6000 (65") and $5000 (55"). Can't say what employee pricing is but it's not quite enough I'm going to rush to sell my 65EZ950, tempting tho!
CA page for 65" - https://www.panasonic.com/ca/consume...-65gz2000.html Wish they'd release a "reference" model without any speakers, why don't CEs get this? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Don't know where else to post this but I have a Samsung 6 series 4K uhd tv since 2017. My HBO max app needs to be updated so to make this short I find that my actual TV's data uesage is low so it wont. I have apaprently 23 mb free of 760 or so and I am not loaded up on apps. Just youtube, prime video and hbo max. So I try and look up how to clear a cache or rid apps that were already on the tv that I have never used and 1) there's no option anywhere on this tv's settings menu to clear cache or cookies and 2) it wont let me delete those unused pre-installed apps...
So what the hell do I do? I don't wanna but the last resort would be to use a usb drive which I am not really wanting to do |

But for $26 a Roku will add so much free stuff to watch that the small price is over whelmed by what one receives for the expense |

Thanks I didnt mean to get snappy with ny last post but currently I really have no reason for a roku other than if I wanted to subscribe to the criterion channel. I mainly use hbo max and amazon for streaming. I will keep it in mind next time.

I have done below for a number of my neighbors who have Prime... One who buys Prime pays about $130 a year. Did you know you can have three TVs using Prime Video streaming app at the same time. My neighbor, Darlene, pays yearly for Prime. I and my neighbor, Pam, have connected to Darlene's Prime Video streaming app. Pam and I pay Darlene $45 each for a year's usage. This brings Darlene's cost for Prime about $40 a year. A great way to save money. I have done the same for YouTube TV, Discovery+, PBS, Netflix, etc. Hey, when one's a senior, he's got to learn how to save because item prices go up, the income doesn't. You have a great weekend. |

I purchase an LG OLED TV last week. Its display is good. OLED is a technology that can be used to create displays with different resolutions, and all of the latest LG OLED TVs offer 4K resolution. ... Picture quality is spectacular, with Infinite Contrast that ranges from blazing whites to the deepest blacks, LG OLED TVs deliver bright, vibrant colors.

![]() The LG OLED and the Sony OLED (2nd video) are basically the same price here in Canada, for the 65" Class models ($2,300 vs $2,400). The Sony LED model (65") is only for comparison when the budget is $1,500 Cdn. Last edited by LordoftheRings; 11-29-2021 at 07:55 PM. |

Hello all. So I noticed this on my LG OLED TV, never noticed it before. Thoughts, is this normal or signs of damage? I hardly ever touch the display except for the very edges on the few times I shift it to get to the back.
thanks for any input |

While I was looking at my 85" Sammy QLED moreso than the market, the 83" LG C1 OLED showed up at Costco for $3,999. Was surprised to see it at a warehouse this evening.
Although it's still a grand more than I finally paid for the (Q70) Sammy about 18 months ago, things seem to be moving in the right direction price- and size-wise. The (2019) 77" C9 LG OLED was about $7k. An OLED zealot friend harangued me about my (in his opinion) inferior QLED choice but I wanted something larger than the LG 77" OLED and the 55" was a total non-starter (after having spent many years looking at an 82" Mitsu DLP). Addendum: With further clicking, I see that the 83" OLED isn't a new development . . . but that 2021 model being blown out at Costco seems to be. Last edited by Paul.R.S; 08-10-2022 at 06:50 AM. |
