I'm probably going to pick up a Yamaha YSP-2200 for the living room TV.
The reviews seem to be quite positive, and I demoed one in person, and it actually sounded pretty good.
I also like that the sub is direct wired, instead of wireless or bluetooth.

Yamaha YSP-2200 review

Hopefully you can find a Black Friday deal on it.

Sorry, this is going to come off wrong, but how does BF work in other countries? Do you even have BF sales, since your Thanksgiving is earlier than ours in the states? Back on topic, I was debating between the Yamaha and Vizio the last time I looked at them at Costco. Was really hoping to get a look at the soundbars on our last Costco run, but we all had the bug and my wife shopped while we looked at toys. Unfortunately they weren't daddy's type of toys.

Good point. I didn't notice that he's from Canada.

In Canada we have Boxing Day sales which occur every year on December 26th.
It allows the retail stores to clear out anything leftover from Xmas.

The Black Friday sale in the states is much better, as you can actually buy your Xmas gifts on sale, where in Canada we usually pay full price for Xmas gifts.

I'm not sure what that Yamaha would go for in the states, but up here it goes for $799.

Looks to be about the same. The one I was looking at was around $300? I'll probably have to wait for a bit. More pressing things on the agenda at the moment.

I picked up the LG NB3530. I oqn an LG TV and they work nicely together. The sub is very good. My only issue is that the bass can be overbearing on the dialogue which is weird. I ws watching Man of Steel and was having to mess with sound options quite a bit.

Not to take away from your thread but I ended up getting this one from eBay last night: http://www.ebay.com/itm/261079131181...84.m1497.l2648

It has 2 HDMI in's and 1 out so I am wondering, do I plug my PS4 in and my cable box in and run the out to my TV? Just making sure I do this right.

Well, up until the last couple of years, our only real equivalent to Black Friday here in Canada was Boxing Day on December 26th. For the last 2 or 3 years though we have been experiencing a Black Friday of our own for businesses here to try and compete with cross-border shopping. However, let me just say that our Black Friday is quite pitiful and practically worthless compared to the deals in the US. The deals mostly just reflect the type of deals you would normally see in a weekly flyer but they stamp "Black Friday Deal" graphics all over the place.

P.S. Boxing Day has now been extended to become Boxing Week in Canada to help try and stop the 1-day-insanity associated with such a design. Of course, there are still some amazing 1-day only deals, but you have all week to get most of the deals.

I wouldn't know, I'm not a audio file JDW89, but I think you plug things in as you posted? By the way, did you ever post a picture of your scratched discs in the PS4 thread you started? Might want to do that if you haven't. It has been so long leem, I want to say I was originally looking at a LG. Since I'm putting it with a 55" LG and want to reduce the amount of remotes.
