Best Buy $10 Pre-Order Bonus List

You get points you can redeem for a $10 certificate that post 15 days or less after the game came out. Madden and Overwatch had trouble, but were supposedly fixed. I'm still having problems with Madden posting, but I'll call or post in the unboxed forums and they'll fix it (they always do).

I've paid a multitude of different ways in store and online and have never had a problem. You don't get regular points (which are doubled on video games if you have GCU and would equal about $2) if you pay with a gift card, but you do get the 500 ($10) bonus points.

Pretty much everything you'd expect plus a Nintendo title and South Park (which I'm really excited about). Hopefully they do the FIFA/Madden trade in deal like the past couple years. It makes them $30ish depending on how much you can get a cheap used copy for.

I could see me ordering all these titles (if I get a Switch by then). Trade one in and basically get the next one free.

Signed up for GCU the other day and popped in a preorder for Destiny 2 and Super Mario Odyssey (plus a couple other things) ~ super excited for these two titles so a $10 certificate was icing on the cake

Good work. GCU by far the best deal in gaming. Sometimes I can finish a game and sell it and come out ahead.

Quick question... I joined Best Buy's Gamer's Club a few weeks back and I am noticing that any pre-order game still shows their regular price during check out.

Is that the norm? I can see the discount the the game's page but checkout shows regular price.

Thought I would check here as we have a few Best Buy Gamer's club members.

Always shows the post GCU price for me. It's possible you may need to log in again. It may log you out so it can confirm your info before you order.

Kind of strange...I pre-ordered and picked up both Shadow of War and South Park, but only South Park is showing the 500 pending points ($10 My Rewards Certificate)...I'll give it a couple of days more here, because I do recall Madden going down to the wire with issuing my points as well.

You have 15 days, so I'd wait. But my account has been screwed up and won't give me points on some purchases. It'll show up in my purchases, but not rewards (not even zero or pending). So I had to call about 2K, that Starship Troopers steelbook, and Shadow of War.

I'd have waited on SoW, but like I said, it wasn't even showing up

South Park is pending, so maybe they have my account fixed now.

FYI, have through next Thursday to preorder both Super Mario Odyssey and Assassin's Creed: Origins. I've got Odyssey preordered and will probably wait a long while on Origins.

Yeah, I'm still going to wait. Just thought it was a bit strange that the 500 bonus points are showing up for South Park, but not for Shadow of War (a game that came out a week earlier). I know I ordered the game before 5pm CST the day before release (as stated in the FAQ's on how to qualify for the $10 My Rewards certificate).

That combined $20 in My Rewards certificates are going to come in handy for some 4K Blu Ray Buying (got the rest of the Harry Potter series, Dunkirk, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Trilogy, Jumanji, and the Men in Black trilogy to buy...sheesh!)

The points from the transaction have already posted (early, I know), but there's no sign of any 500 bonus points. Should I be concerned, or should I just give it more time?

You have 15 days. Typically for me they post at the same time, though. You will probably have to call or go on BBYs help forum. If you go on the help forum, typically it is best to PM mod Mike-BBY. In my limited experience he seems to get stuff done. If he says wait then wait the 15 days.

Are we sure that Shadow of War was on the $10 rewards certificate list? My Reward Zone points posted today for the purchase, but without the 500 extra points ($10 certificate).
