Default Mitsubishi 73' and 60' screen issues with PS3

So i have an issue with BOTH Mitsubishi DLP TV's the 60' and the 73'. When I and watching cable everything is fine. the only time I have the issue is when I turn the PS3 on and play a game or a demo or run an app, when I get out of what I am in the PS3 comes back up and the screen gets distorted and flashes invalid signal then Blu Ray then invalid signal again. it will do this until i turn off the PS3 and the TV then I have to start over again and most times it will be fine until i get out of a game or an app. I have read up on another forum that people have this issue and it has something to do with not using an HighSpeed HDMI cable and having to turn off the Deep Color Settings. my problem is i have 2 high speed cables and have tried all 7 of my HDMI cables it happens on all of them. and its not just That PS3, i have a 80 gig fat that does the same thing. on both my tv's....... any ideas?

this is what the screen looks like when it messes up

I have a Mit 73" DLP, but I've never had that issue. I've had some issues with the TV just turning off by itself, or the screen displaying everything in pink, but not a bluescreen like that.

If you have the bread for a 73' and a 60', I don't sympathize for your issues. Lol. I actually have the same issue with my 47' Samsung, but it self corrects once I switch back to cable or pc.

HAHAHA thank you for that comment that made my day!
I actually think i may have fixed the issue. I change the setting on the PS3 for "Deep Color Settings" and turned it off, since then i have not seen the tv get the error of invalid input or the screen distortion.

Dude, I have the 65" model and I get some of the same stuff you're getting. I watched your video and verified mine does the same. I did notice that when it happens, if I turn the TV off and on quickly that it fixes the problem(hope that helps). It is definitely the TV.

Im going on a few days now and since I changed the setting on the PS3 for "Deep Color Settings" I have not had the issue at all (knock on wood) and I am using High Speed HDMI cables from Monoprice. I'm just glad it looks like it may have fixed it. was getting to be a pain in the @$$

Yeah, that Deep Color setting will cause issues... Dunno why.. I have a plasma, but had a similar problem, when I had Deep Color 'ON', whenever I would go back to the PS3 home screen, my display would start flickering. Turned it 'OFF', no issue. And the funny thing is, I have NO clue what that option does, cause there is NO DIFFERENCE in my picture.

exactly, I don't know what it does either, all i know is it caused me a alot of panic and frustration I kept thinking "now how in the hell is it that both of my tv's are broken a the same time doing the same thing". I originaly thought that my fat PS3 was the cause ( before the HDMI port went out) and i went out and dropped another 300.00 on a 250gb ps3 slim, turned it on and it did the same damn thing. of course I kept the other ps3 I just glad I'm was able to get it figured out.!
