Screen Cleaning Suggestions?

Indeed; I suspect any of these "spray on/wipe off" chemicals are going to smear this screen worse than it is...

How about attempting to use a kind of lightly damp paper towel on the SXRD screen?

If you don't have another cloth, use a clean cotton tshirt. Since you are only using water it won't hurt the shirt and it wont be as abrasive as a paper towel.

Worst case, if you still love the TV, you can replace the front of the TV pretty cheap. There's screws on the side, top, and under the button panel that will release the frame and you can slide a brand new one on. Last time I looked at parts for one I repaired for a friend (moved, dropped it) they were only around $200, but that was years ago so I'm sure they have come down more in cost.

I have used that product on all types of screens (1000s) including my own SXRD and it does work. But you are entitled to your opinion.

I don't see where it recommends usage of the type of surface that the SXRD has. I still have mine downstairs and cannot imagine how a product that dries clear wouldn't just wreck more havoc.

Do you have any links to reviews, like on AVS, about it?

Oh, the smears don't bother me that much -- you only see them when the screen is off and sun is shining on it, or if you look up close from certain angles. It certainly isn't affecting watching during night (critical hours)...
