Default 46" samsung DLP with white dots est. worth?

So my samsung DLP started having problems right after warranty ended and I dont really want to fix it. Do you think anyone would want to buy it and have it repaired? If so how much do you think is a reasonable price to ask for it. Its got a bulb thats only a few months old(only second one in 4 years) and had some repair work done to it at the same time the lamp was replaced.

White dots usually indicate that the DLP chip has a problem. Sometimes Samsung will repair it even after the warranty is over - you need to escalate it beyond the first level of support.

not only does it have white dots showing up the screen goes black after fifteen minutes or so with three red lights on the front. It could be a lamp issue or something but just about six months ago a bestbuy tech came out and replaced the bulb aswell as the main board, or atleast one of the boards I can't remember. You really think its worth calling samsung? If it doesn't work out how much do you think I should ask for it if someone wanted to fix it? $50? $100?
oh and it happened right after the best buy extended warranty not the samsung one which ended like 2 years ago I think.
