Not sure who else the cpu let go of!!! I would look at your default roster when you turn the game on and compare it to your current one in CF to see who's missing.

I had to let 15/16 players walk due to the mega contracts I will have to sign after this season! (Wilson, Lynch, Okung, Wagner, etc.) I have a total of 17 more players with expiring contracts to deal with

Of course my cap space is left with little to work with.

I probably won't be able to sign everyone I lost to free agency, but I'll try to bring back my two WR's as long as no other team claims them.

Wilson's rookie contract expired so you better give him that huge contract he deserves unless he does a Brady and takes less for the team.

I can't sign any FA's till the next advancement. I don't intend to negotiate existing contracts with my players on my team so I'm going to just ride out another season with my current roster. As the WR's I lost from contract expiration, that's where my salary cap is going towards during the off season. I'm ready for the next advancement when you are Parker.

Haha, that's good to know other teams didn't offer my 2 WR's.

There were offers to both. They just haven't signed yet

I am waiting to see what Iupati does. The highest bidder is the Jets but they have other pending offers and I hope they bow out. I am second on his list. If I don't get him I will target the 2 previously mentioned and be done with the free agent period.

My advice would be to offer a little more than their asking price and stand firm on the deal. Don't get into a bidding war with the cpu. Otherwise, you will have salary cap issues down the road. I only sign one FA and fill the rest of the roster through the draft and low end free agents prior to the preseason. Be sure to scout other FA WR's in the event that either one or both of your targets get away. If I had room, I would target Hakeem Nicks or Michael Crabtree. Both young and demand less in terms of money.

It looks like Nelson signed with Cincinatti and Cobb signed with Dallas.
You can always trade for them if you want. Also Hakeem Nicks is available on the free agent market and comes cheap with an 84-85 overall rating!!!

I also simmed the draft so take a look at who you have and what holes need to filled.

Once you flesh out your roster, we can sim the preseason.

My WR core might be lacking this season, but I should be okay. Might have to split my offense to 50% run/pass.

Yup, that's the new NFL now. From dual RB's to dual TE's. I think I'll be fine withough Jordy or Cobb.
