Default Diy car audio subwoofer

So ive got this crazy Idea... got a stupid deal on a couple JL 15 subwoofers... work great don't know what model they are yet... soon though.. and I bought a qsc 280 on a whim cheap works awesome too but my question is can I use them in my home theater set up? and will they be a viable replacement/upgrade to my velodyne cht-15? and if they work out im thinkin bout adding 2 more to the mix.. any ideas???
