Default Movie Poster Sleeves

I was wondering if you guys knew of a good place to order poster sleeves for rolled posters. All the ones I have I've gotten from sellers over the years but I need to order extra ones. There only seems to be one seller on Amazon (and I think they're in the Philippines and not the U.S.) and some other sites I thought might have them don't. I'd appreciate any help and recommendations.

I'm actually interested in this as well. I currently have a ton of movie posters I need to sell and for the rolled ones I did not want to just ship in a tube with no additional protection. I tried craft paper but for some of the more fragile posters it seems a bit rough still.

I ended up ordering these and they work great. Not sure why I couldn't find more options but luckily these are good.

You can always go the bulk roll route. I use this from ULine, it comes in a large roll and you just cut off what you want. The 3" wide opening should work for you but if you don't want to roll as tight you can go with a 4" opening. The tighter you roll a poster if you aren't someone who rolls a lot of posters, the greater the chance of damage to the poster. If you contact ULine they sometimes can send you a sample, perhaps try a sample of 3" opening and the 4" opening.

Thank you Kinsella! I'm in a time crunch because I'm moving so the ones from Amazon are fine for now but I'll definitely look into that for the future.

Do you know a good place to get backing and plastic covers? The only ones I have are the few I've gotten from sellers at conventions. Once I'm settled I'll be framing some more posters and the others I would like to have in backers so it's easy to flip through and see. And show off.

If you want actual large sleeves, the ones I use when I set up at conventions are top loader semi-rigid sleeves. The ones I prefer are made by Ultra-Pro. The largest size they make are 29x43 inches so a standard original movie poster will fit and its clear on both sides. They come 10 per box but they can be expensive, somewhere around $100-$150 for a box of 10.

The feature an opening at the top, very similar to the baseball card style ones but only these are much larger. It would be great if they made them 28x42 as original movie posters are 27x40 or 27x41 for the older originals, but they don't so 29x43 has to suffice.

As this is a topic that interests me, I found a "blog" (I guess) with a bunch of links to different sites that offer varying types of storage.

https://jasonpatz.com/2014/06/30/how...movie-posters/

With 300 - 500 posters rolled up in tubes, sometimes 15 to a tube, I take them out to check on them from time to time (every 5-7 years it seems) and have always wanted a permanent, non-rolled, option.

I would love to do Mylar L-sleeves with acid free backer board all stored in some of those poster boxes. I just don't have the space at the moment to store a giant box flat like that yet. If I had the money/space for it, that's how I would do it. Maybe build a cabinet for the boxes to be stored in as well. Of course, if I get to the point where I need that type of storage, then I might have too many posters. I'm running out of wall space for special posters as it is.
