Very excited about the new Z and the A95X. I hope to snag one of them. Both being top of the line sets would it have hurt to add 3D capability to one or both?

Don't know how true this is (I haven't checked) but Sony has supposedly posted rewards points for their 2022 lineup on their site (still no pricing). If they stay with the same system as one point per dollar the pricing is extremely reasonable. YouTube video posted by Vincent Teoh is the source fyi.

He states $7K for the 75 inch and $10K for the 85 inch. Not bad. I am interested in the 75 inch Z9K.

If that's truly the price for the 75" then I'm going to seriously consider it along with the JVC NZ8 (which I'm still leaning towards).

That's great news! Do you have a time frame for the A95K as well?

We'll have Sony's very first allocation of 55" and 65" A95K Master Series QD OLED TVs that will be shipping the week of May 23rd.

Saw the X95K side by side with an X95J at Best Buy yesterday and it was really impressive. The Mini-LED tech is a huge improvement over the previous tech. The Magnolia store didn't have the A95K nor the Z9K yet but the 75" Z9J dropped another $1.5k down to under $4k which is an amazing price for that TV.

Sony has the very first allocation/shipment of the new 2020 Z9K 8K Master Series MiniLED HD TVs picked and palletized for delivery to our store. If all goes as scheduled we'll receive the shipment this Thursday or no later than Friday.

I scheduled a YouTube video of the unboxing, set-up and 1st impressions for this Saturday, but I'll get back here sooner with some pictures when the Z9K delivery arrives.

That would be great! Very interested in your thoughts on the picture quality of the Z9K vs. the A95K.

OMG we are having the most fun ever with Sony's new 2022 Z9K 8K HDR Master Series MiniLED TV in our store today!

Seeing HDR content without the need to tone map gives you the full dynamic tonal range and full color volume to the screen and brings out all of the details in the highest peak luminance that I have never seen before on any TV. The images look real to life.

So the value and benefits of a premium 8K TV is not because of the higher resolution, but it is a very welcome side effect of having 400% more pixels that deliver much higher peak luminance and better color saturation and color volume. The naturally higher contrast ratio and full color volume of Sony's Z9K makes the images look sharper and more detailed.

You just had to make my decision even harder, didn't you? Incredible picture!

Hope any blooming effect is at a minimum. If it is

The only way to see the very minimal blooming is when the TV is viewed in low ambient light and off axis.

Do we know how many dimming zones these have yet (75” vs 85”)?

I gave up on the x95K given the blooming, but I’m still holding out hope for this one. Hoping to upgrade later this year or early next year and wondering whether to wait for a bigger QD OLED (with hopefully better ambient light handling) or go with a mini led that has minimal blooming issues.
