Can't Edit Or Add Movies Anymore - Blu-ray Forum

Hello, I have noticed that I am no longer able to edit movies on this site and was wondering if someone could please tell me why this is.

I believe it has to do with the "new member" status from what I read, also been looking up why I can't add a film...

Yeah that makes sense. I was strangely enough able to up until a couple of weeks ago despite having the new member status though.

It gives me an error and tells me that I have to be logged in or a registered member to submit data despite the fact that I am already logged in.

That is odd.

I know this has happened to others before. Because they were making to many errors or causing issues.

When I go to "My Movies: Watched," I used to see the movie posters. But now I only see a text list of movie titles I've watched. And like cheesyben, I can no longer add titles. Or maybe I just forgot how to add them . . .

If so, on the right near the top it says "sort by title" right next to that are 3 view options. Seems you may have click "list view" at some point. You want the first option to see posters.

Also what do you mean exactly by "add movies"? You can't edit or add new titles to the database? Or add movies to your collection?

I can't edit or add new titles to the database. Adding movies to my collection still works for me.

Same issue here. I got to 20 posts to become a member like other threads suggested and the edit and add links still don't work for me.

There is also a time limit. Like 30 days or something like that.

Really? That seems extreme. I have a collection to inventory. Why do we make it so hard for users to contribute to the database?

It's been almost 3 weeks since I became a member and still no add/edit access. Is there someone that can just grant this for me? I have too many edits to post for others to add (30+). It would be much quicker to just do them myself. Thanks!

Isn't there anything I can do to fix it? I created a second account specifically so that I could add and edit movies since my main one appears to be glitched however it got banned because you can only have one account. Is it possible for me to have the account but only to add and edit movies? Thank you.

If you can no longer edit the database, then there is a reason. Attempting to circumvent that by creating another account is prohibited.

Isn't there any way to find out why I can no longer edit it? If I did something that revokes my ability to edit then I apologise as it was never my intention and I only wanted to add to the database.

Also running into an issue here where titles that can’t be scanned by the app could be entered here and would sync. The manually added titles show here but are not syncing to my collection at the moment
