Okay, so Patty Jenkins is out, but the question still remains: Will Gal Gadot continue to play the character?

Nothing has been confirmed with that, despite everyone running with the rumor and making it sound official that everyone will be recast.

How much was Jenkins involved in the script of the first movie?

Starting to look like Jenkins is building a rep for being difficult. Is this what happened with Dark world and Cleopatra.

Not sure but Renea De Liz should have gotten some credit. Most of the young Diana stuff was taken from Legend of Wonder Woman.

I thought the first WW was really good apart from the third act which was visually and thematically a mess. But most superhero third acts are problematic.

Jenkins is not credited as a writer for Wonder Woman. Allan Heinberg, Zach Snyder, and Jason Fuchs are the only credited writers. Jenkins may have made dialogue alterations but it was not significant enough to be credited.

While Jenkins, Geoff Johns, and Dave Callaham are the credited writers for Wonder Woman 1984.

Okay, that explains a lot.

She committed suicide a couple of years after the movie came out, really sad.

Don’t forget Raimi’s kids. ‘Film’s extra’ and the other classic ‘Wicked cool’. Oof.

They’ll leave it a few years and reboot completely with Jenna Ortega as Wonder Woman.

She built that rep originally in the aftermath of Monster. I believe there were a couple of projects between Monster & Thor 2 that stalled due to her being "difficult". She kept busy with occasional TV projects.

She seems to have a very clear idea of what she wants to do and has very little inclination to change things at the behest of studios. That's great if she can pull it off but the reception to WW84 weakened her in that regard.

To be fair, she did fight for the trench scene.

One of the biggest changes all the WB executives wanted in the #WonderWoman3 script is when Chris Pine's Steve Trevor comes back to life AGAIN !!

Man, what a diva. Loved her first WW film, hated the second, was hoping the third would return to the firm of the first. Oh well.

Complete bs. Gadot is Wonder Woman. Still pissed it took until 2017 to FINALLY get a Wonder Woman movie made. It amazes me how much better at Disney/Marvel is better at handling their IP. Warner is a trainwreck. I can only dream that they lose DC. I know that wont happen but I am glad they lost Legendary to Sony. They deserve all the hate from actors and directors for the crap they pulled putting movies on HBO MAX in 2021 in a GIMMICK to gain new subscibers THEY FAILED!
