Site has been very slow loading this morning as well, I was on putting some in my cart and it kicked me out...YMMV

Arrow's server seems woefully underprepared for the traffic. After about 15 minutes, I was finally able to get 4 titles added to my cart. The cart was then dumped for no reason. Can't add anything now.

When will people understand that physical media is dead? Haha.

Nobody is saying it's dead. Just dying from the heyday of charging $50 for individual DVD seasons. Having a server slowdown during a seasonal sale says nothing about sustainability of the format.

Arrow's site is woefully broken at this point. After about 1.5 hours of attempting to add titles and checkout with nothing but spinning circles, I'm calling it and going to bed. I'm sure the titles I wanted will be sold out by the time I wake up. Que Serį, Serį.

Yeah, I was kind of just kidding around, not necessarily making a definitive assessment on the current state of physical media.

I was just able to get through and place an order. Elriva sold out in the mean time though. Was hoping to get that one before I meet her in June...Ended up with:

Fixed that for you. Though, actually, there are plenty of people even here that say it's dead, unfounded, if not utterly clueless as such may be. Apparently, you can fool some people all of the time. Of course having a field of journalism today that can so easily be paid off or gullibly manipulated helps.

I was so annoyed that the problems that I vowed to not place an order unless Elvira came back in stock... but the cheap shipping made me pull the trigger on Dave Made a Maze and The Apartment.

Since this sale has a mix of region-free and region B titles, I would suggest to the mods that the current "region free deals" and "region B deals" forums be merged/shut down and replaced with an "International deals", for deals from international sellers like Arrow, 88, Amazon UK, etc.

I'm logged in. Is 18 gbp a sale price? Most items look to be 15-18 gbp. Doesn't look like a sale to me.

There are 20 items at 5 and over 300 at £7.50.

Lots of people seem to be having trouble with the site with this sale. Click around for a while, put some items in teh Wishlist. I think there's some cache issues as well.
