Arrow claims low stock of the Scarlet Box in the US as of June 1st, so they may release the films separately after that similar to the UK model.

I just watched the first film on Netflix, am I the only one that finds this genuinely creepy and foreboding?

Edit: Just to clarify I’ve seen this a few times before but don’t remember it being this gruesome

Nope. It's a classic for a reason.

So, is the Diabolik price of $79.99 a pretty good deal for this set? I've only seen the first Hellraiser and half of the second, and although I'm not quite sure I loved them, I realize their importance in Horror Cinema. I suppose the Horror Fanatic in me wants to broaden out. (See my Collection for details.)

Just wondering what some of you thought about both the price, and the set itself.

May be worth looking into the German set from Turbine for the better encode of the first, non-sharpened version of the second and the correctly-framed presentation of the third.

I'm really just hoping they'll release the movies individually. I only want the first, and I'm eying the Steelbook, even though I've never been a steelbook fan. I'd prefer to get just a regular clear case (at a - presumably - lower price).

I sympathize with y’all. I realize now how full of holes the second one is although I still like it a lot. 3 is awful. I got the box and all but man, the first one is such a standalone masterpiece

If you just want the first one, Arrow does sell it individually. It's only £7.50 during the summer sale.

First is the only one worth watching. Horror classic.

I know a lot of people enjoy Hellbound but boy is it bad...and Hell on Earth is just stupid.

Apologies if this is not the right place to talk about sales/trades, but it seems some folks here are interested in picking up for a good price, and I've got an extra copy of the UK version (which is region B locked) that I'd like to sell. It's not sealed, but is essentially mint. Anybody interested can PM me with how much you want to pay, I don't need to make much on this if it's going to someone who really wants the set for themselves!

I'm assuming that's region locked. I'm waiting for a US version.

Yep it's region-locked but who knows if or when Arrow will get US rights (this release in question is already a year old). Region-free hardware is your friend, always .

Yeah, probably more fun than Hellbound, due to how stupid it is. I mean...the disc shooting Cenobite? Amazing.

Is there any more 90s moment in any horror movie ever made?

#3 was the first one I saw. I only remembered the girl shooting CDs. I had always wondered what movie it was from. Got the boxed set and watched all three and finally found it. I really enjoy #3 more than the previous two.
Looking to purchase the following:
- Game of Thrones: Season 1: HBO Shop Bonus Disk
- Ghost in the Shell: Target Bonus Disk
- 4k/UHD - Spider-Man 1, TMNT: OotS, Dracula Untold, Captain Underpants, Split, Rough Night
DIGITAL CODE SELLING POST (Updated: November 9th, 2017): http://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.ph...ostcount=99736

That was a boy cenobite shooting throwing the cds like they were ninja stars. The lone girl cenobite of the movie was all about cigarettes so that was worked into her cenobite design.

Is the steelbook of #1 the same as the one in the boxed set like Amazon suggests?
