"No Mercy" by Bill Wray? Yeah, that pisses me off to no end. It's an awesome song. I wonder if we could at least pull a better version from some of the channels on the 5.1 track (like would the talking and shit be on separate channels?).

I have the bundled version. It will do unless this release becomes really cheap.

...so who are these MVD clowns and why are their releases so ridiculous? They're charging 4K prices (actually more) for what's likely to be the same BD transfer, and I don't see any mention of it being a limited printing like TT.

I'll get this if it's confirmed to have the alternative AWOL/Wrong Bet cut in addition to the normal Lionheart version in decent quality. At the moment it's overpriced for what it is.

Yeah. That song still gets me pumped up. I need a full version for when I work out! Haha

Yeah, it's rough and the inserts are not great quality. It would be really cool if they could find better quality for the inserts.

I said the same thing. Who are these clowns to charge that for old catalog titles? I don't see any mention of it being a limited run like TT, but they expect people to pay even more than TT releases. I've got the PCE release and US disc. I question the need for this one.

Are you both new to buying movies?

Have you ever heard of MSRP? Can you look up other releases by the same company? MVD Classic Rewind titles sell for $20-$25 and dip below that. I picked up their second release for $16 and their first release could be had for $18.

There's a mistake on the German DC where lines regarding the fate of Van Damme's brother's killers are included from both versions.

In the R-version they're caught by police
In the DC they're unlikely to be caught
In the DE DC they're caught and unlikely to be caught (which obviously makes no sense).

The person who edited the DC footage into the TC HD master obviously didn't listen to the dialogue/wasn't aware of the change.

Yeah. It'll stay $40 because Amazon is stupid and won't offer discount to stay competitive. That's why they bought Whole Foods then proceeded to cut the prices down in all stores when it was finalized. Because Amazon knows full retail is the way to go.

Lionheart is on my Top 3 list of JCVD movies. This is the only Van Damme movie with an ending scene
[Show spoiler](Leon running back to his niece and hugs her)
that brought tears of joy to my eyes the first time I saw it at the cinema

It's John Scott's uplifting score that touches your heart. Anyone feel the same?
"I remember fondly the first DVD I bought - The Adventures of Indiana Jones: The Complete DVD Movie Collection. Very excited to find how much attention was given to the contents and packaging. The DVD days are gone now but those were the beginning of my becoming a movie collector." (DVD Aficionado, 2017)

If you want another Van Damme movie to shed a tear over, I highly recommend Pound of Flesh. It's my favorite out of anything he's done in recent years. I've watched it like 5 times now.
