$150.00!!!!

At least this makes my decision easy.
Pre-order it anyway, or even from both Amazon US and Amazon UK. When the pre-order for Deep Red went up it was something like $50 USD and then dropped to $21 at one point. If you lock in your pre-orders, closer to release date you can go with the one that's dropped to the lowest price and cancel the others.

Yeah, Canada.

We still get ripped off with everything lately since there's little competition now (rip HMV)
For instance at one point Americans could get Criterion's NoLD for $17.99 while I haven't seen it under $38.99 here.

Sure, it will be a little cheaper but with our low dollar the Sartana box set will still be out of my price range.
I can only hope for individual releases so I can pick and choose.

Right now the cheapest place is directly from Arrow. I'm not sure what it'll be in CAD, but it should certainly be a lot less than Amazon

Would love on Blu-ray:
Something Wicked this Way Comes, After Hours, Drugstore Cowboy, Bringing Out the Dead, The Dead Zone, Mr. Rice's Secret, Christiane F.

$53.99 at Deep Discount right now.

https://www.deepdiscount.com/the-com...a/760137134084

The recent 10% off discounts brought the price down to under $49. Right now there is still a $5 off $40 coupon, which still gets it under $50.

I'm waiting for the inevitable 15% off coupon this month.

The Sartana saga was a resounding success in Italy, and I think these movies are 100% amazing.

I always considered Sartana as being a man from future. He was so ahead, he used strange tricks and "powers".
It was totally groundbreaking.

I'm so happy!

Normally I would too...but I guess it depends on how long this whole Summer Sale promotion lasts, and whether or not the price will last that long. An extra 5% off isn't all that much, so I'd rather be safe than sorry in this case.

Phooey! Mine - ordered straight from Arrow - is still stuck in the "Pending release" limbo. Ah well, not like I don't have a ton of VS discs coming soon!

I was finally able to place an order at Deep Discount (kept getting an error going from the cart to Paypal, then kicked back to the cart), and it's listed as "backorder" in my order history.

I just received my copy today and once again superbly packaged by Diabolik. I've uploaded some of the packaging on Imgur:

I've just got to set aside some time now to start watching the set and go through the booklet.

Cool. I see the individual films are in Viva Elite cases as opposed to the thicker cases that Arrow titles usually come in. That'll be good for shelf space purposes!

Mine came in as well a few hours ago, I've just started reading the booklet. Will be giving one of the films a watch tonight, for sure!
