Absolutely pre-ordering the Yuen Biao titles when possible.

Ha, Killer's Moon is absolute dogshit - sold the previous UK blu last year after buying it thinking it couldn't possibly be as bad as I remembered it from the DVD.

I'll double-dip on the Pete Walkers if they offer an AV improvement.

Indeed..it is not often but can say now imdb score 4.9 is about accurate. It`s not completely bad and last 10 mins or so are quite good. Score is lovely, mostly ominous ambient. Top beauty Josie Bisset looks like ordinary girl in Hitcher so not much eye candy either

25 for blind buy it is more likely one will regret it than is satisfied with purchase.

Knife of ice would be much safer blind purchase.

Same.

Looks like Righting Wrongs may be a hard box release judging by the artwork image - If so then I'm really glad Yuen Biao is getting the premium treatment like some of the Chan releases (Eureka have also been doing a fine job with Sammo - long may that continue).

I have picked up a few of the 88 deluxes, but I'm starting to just wait for a standard (currently waiting for Black Cat & Hatchet f..) for both space and money reasons, but man. I know my taste enough to tell that I'll absolutely love both Righting Wrongs and On the Run, so I will smell that delicious hardbox and bluray case DAY 1!

Hell, I'll double-dip if they just offer English subtitles! Not having English as my first language, I find the dialects in some of them quite hard to grasp.

I basically kept my old Pete Walker coffin DVD box set for that very reason - unlike the later BD releases, that box had subtitles for all the films.

I'll probably wait for a standard edition from 88 on Righting Wrongs and On the Run, but I'm VERY much looking forward to them.

Does anyone in the know have any idea whether Jet Li's The Legend of Fong Sai-Yuk would ever be a possibility for an 88/Eureka release? I don't know anything about 'Eastern Production Ltd' or 'Gala Film Distribution Ltd' and what the rights situation is like. I've got some crapola UK BD release which is fine, the film is plenty entertaining, but I'd be well up for an upgrade.

Any hope, insights or crushing disappointment much appreciated.

Hmm... the Amazon image for All the Souls ... Except the Dead shows a standard Amaray-ish image rather than a hardbox. Not trying to get my hopes up, but perhaps this indicates that not *every* Italian Collection release will be an expensive limited edition henceforth?

That Bruno Mattei film will be included in Severibn's Black Emanuelle set whhenever they get round to releasing it if people wan't to wait for said set instead.

I had a quick look at the disc content. Species looks better than the previous MGM/Fox BD I have, the compression is much better. II was alright, not great. III looks great, Awakening is good.

I like the look of it. It has a shine to the box, the discs all have artwork, one has the postcards in it, 2 has the poster and 3 has the booklet.
