Just bought the Tiger Cage Trilogy from 88 using my 17 pound coupon. Still insane I paid 13.50 just for shipping. Wouldíve bought it from Amazon but fear itíll be OOS soon by the time they allow free international shipping

At least I had my coupon anyway and had to use it at some point

If Cannibal Holocaust is going to be cut, what a waste of a 4K release. I'll have to wait for (presumably) Grindhouse to release it.

I was going to order Knife of Ice from them because it's "sold out" at Zavvi, but it's 16 bloody quid for shipping to the U.S. Damn. I remember when shipping was only like 4 or 5 quid.

For all I know, 88 has US 4K rights.

Street Trash is one of the few American films in which a gang-rape is treated in a humorous manner (nothing shown, it's all in the implication). But then ST also gets its humor from a bunch of tramps playing catch with a severed penis from one of their (pun unintended) members.

I'd be all for that. That would most likely mean a deluxe chipboard slipcase release.

Since Covid hit shipping costs have really gone up. I just bought 5 titles from Amazon UK and shipping was £18.79 to the U.S. This makes it much more acceptable.

Is it safe to assume that 88 Films will no longer be releasing Mardi Gras Massacre?

Too little too late for me. I had it pre ordered on 4K since it was up on Amazon but ended up watching my dvd and while still hugely enjoyable, I didn't feel the need to upgrade and what with my newfound LE fatigue...well I cancelled my pre order a few days ago. I might review my stance once reviews are in.

Bit of a late reply but thanks for this post. Was able to secure a copy myself for $21 usd. Had to wait a couple months but it arrived in great condition! Chang Cheh's become one of my favorite directors so I had to get a copy myself.

This has been discussed before, but IFM is still slightly cut despite being advertised otherwise, for some reason. I think it's less cut than it was on the HKL DVD though.

Were the new announcements teased a few days ago actually announced?

I just read the booklet tonight, and, yep, itís an essay for the first film only. Oops! I wonder how that happened? Thatís kind of an embarrassing screwup, one that youíd think would have been easily caught in QC. Iíll second your facepalm but I am glad to have this on Blu at last.

That wasn't a BBFC cut though.

Interested to know what the 'Psycho Slashers' are. Hoping they also confirm what is happening with Mardi Gras Massacre.
