Sorry for being a little late with this, being that tomorrow is May already, but I've been wanting to start a yearly thread for personal anime purchases for quite a while here in this forum - mainly because a thread like this exists on every other anime forum I post on, and I would rather keep my main list here because this is my primary anime forum, where I am the most active.

This thread can be used to help you keep track of your monthly purchases/orders/pre-orders; just group your purchases by month and add to your same post as the year goes on. You can post your monthly/yearly costs for purchases if you like, or just keep a plain list of the anime you purchased each month. I may also decide to keep track of what anime I received during the month, but I always tally my costs at the time of ordering, and not the time of receipt, as I think it's easier to do it that way.

This is intended to be a list thread and not a chat thread, so please keep comment posts to a minimum, so everyone's lists do not get buried too deep in the thread.

I know a lot of us on here purchase a good amount of anime, so you may want to reserved 2 consecutive posts for your yearly lists, since posts do have a character limit - I use a lot of color formatting, so I usually need two posts, one for the first half and one for the second half of the year.

With that, I'll start my list off for 2016 - please feel free to join in! You may format your list in any way that you like, color/no color, prices/no prices, receive dates, fonts, etc. The formatting I use I've somewhat developed and combined from three of my other forum anime purchase lists - If you want to copy my formatting, you're welcome to do that as well...

I keep track of my list a bit different than GwG does, as mine is ordered on received date and not on purchase date. In fact had to track down most order dates as in my Numbers file the titles are listed on received date and there's no ordered date column.

I'm sorry that I made so many of you waste so much time over the weekend researching, formatting, and posting 4 months of purchases all in one swoop - but now that we have this thread started, I'll be sure to get the 2017 thread going right at the beginning of the new year!

I had a ton of fun making the lists. Thank you for getting this started! I think it's great to be able to see what everyone else has picked up throughout the year collectively. However, it will be insane for me looking back at the end of the year and seeing how much I've purchased and totaling up the overall cost It's going to be a real eye opener as I don't really keep track of my anime expenses and pick-ups throughout the year. I'm going to have a blast updating this every month though.

Also had fun making the list, and was actually done pretty quickly. Just copy/paste from my spreadsheet and adding some color coding ... blatantly copied from GwG

Only thing i needed to get was the order date, but that wasn't to much hassle either. Some searching in my email application and web shop order history did the trick.

Ditto here - saw the photos of Akito the Exiled JP set with the Full Series Box over in the Anime Haul thread - I previewed the first movie online, liked what I saw, and ordered the whole dang set this morning, before I left on my overnight business trip... Just updated my list using my All-in-One computer, from the Hotel room!

And, my list also didn't take that long to create from my spreadsheet and my purchase lists on other forums - it was all that color formatting and deciding what colors to use that took me all weekend and then some to settle on, lol!
