Default What should be my first 10 purchases?

I just got a 50" 1080P Flat Screen with a PS3. I can get 10 movies this Saturday for my birthday. I want movies that will not only look incredible, but I would also like some kind of plot. I like all kinds of movies. If you had to chooses your 10 favorites, what would they be?

A few animateds are a must. You can't go wrong with anything from Disney/Pixar.

Cars
Ratatouille
WALL·E

Kung Fu Panda is simply incredible (from Dreamworks).

Obviously, The Dark Knight is a must-have. Pair it up with Batman Begins. Both have good picture quality (TDK is stunning at times).

Black Hawk Down will really put your speakers to the test, if you are into war/military flicks.

Kill Bill Vols. 1 & 2 are also quite visual and aural, if you are into those movies (I love 'em).

There's a start for ya!

Shouldn't you be picking your 10 favorites? Write down your top 20 movies on a piece of paper in order starting with your favorite. Then go down the list and check which ones are available on Blu-Ray. Once you find 10 that are available, those are the ones you should buy. Everyone has wildly different tastes. Nine out of 10 people are going to list The Dark Knight, so does that mean you buy it if you think that Tim Burton's Batman was the only true Batman movie made?

Maybe, it's just me, but when it comes to movies and music, the only opinion that matters is my own (okay, if you have a spouse and kids, their opinions might override yours).

My best show off Blu-rays would be:

Baraka,
Sleeping Beauty,
Planet Earth,
The Dark Knight,
The Pirates of the Caribbean (any one or all),
Blade Runner,
and The Road Warrior.

If anyone points out the grain or "low picture quality" of 'The Road Warrior' just say, "That's how great my system is! It shows films exactly as they were made! You can't beat perfect!"
