Default Movie Ticket Stubs: Keep or Toss?

I use to go to the movies a lot between getting my driver's license through college. I saved my stubs but I don't know why. I got bored the other day and decided to salvage a cheap poster frame from Walmart and make some wall art. Do have any other ways of displaying your ticket stubs?

that's pretty cool.

it's sorta like a history of your "movie life".

^
^ very cool indeed. They are much nicer than the ones I get.

Also... those prices... aren't they very low? (I pay up to 14 euro's here. That's like 72 dollars.. I think)

I on the other, toss the stubs. (Too old, too long, too many movies...)
But since a couple of years, I keep track of every movie seen and every book read.

Also, quite a lot of my movie stubs are digital now.

I would but my theater use's very very cheap paper that rips pretty much the moment they hand it to you. Plus the fact I go about once a year. Be a pretty boring poster for me.

I have them going back to the mid-90's in a couple of scrap books. I never thought about framing some. I could go through and get major releases and films I adored together in kind of a through the years sort of thing, like I've seen done with concert tickets. Maybe pair them with mini posters? Oh, the possibilities!

I started keeping mine. Need to find a scrapbook or something to stick them in.

Recently dug up a ticket from 1999 from my box of old stuff: Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. That's probably the oldest one I have. Latest would be San Andreas.

The only ticket stub I ever kept was for the last regular Yankees game of the 20th century. Because of the significance, I figured it might be worth something in about 20 years, which will be in 2019.

The only one I've kept I can think of is the one from Ghostbusters when it was re-issued to theaters last year (I'll probably do the same with Jaws is a few weeks...I keep the GB one in the movie's Blu-Ray case). Other than that, I usually toss all but the Disney ones I can turn in for DMR points.

I've kept all my ticket stubs since like 2012. I leave them in the order I watched the movies, they're in a box somewhere in my closet.

I've been keeping mine since the summer of 2008. I think the first one I kept was Iron Man.

Sometimes it's fun to pull them out and look through them. You know, the memories and whatnot.

i guess it's the same with me and football game ticket stubs (although now they just scan the tickets and don't tear off any portion of it).

i keep all the tickets to the football games i attend separated by season and in order of date.

I keep them but both of my theatres now use a simple cheap basic white paper with the movie printed on it. They fade pretty easily.

I've kept mine since around 2003 or 2004, but I definitely haven't keep them all in those early years. My earliest is from 2000.

Sometimes I forgot about them or throw them away, but other times I put them aside until I get the film on DVD/Blu-ray, then I keep them inside the case. For example, my Blade Runner tin contains tickets from all three screenings I attended in April.

I love you, Blade Runner, baby.

Keep you ticket stubs, when you get older you can reminisce. I save my concert tickets, every so often I pull out my ticket binder and relive the great moments I had at the shows. Last week I was going over my binder and one ticker stood out, Metallica at L'amours in Brooklyn NY from January 25,1985. The opening acts were Wasp and Armored Saint. A night that I will NEVER forget!!!!!

I've kept all my ticket stubs since 2007. I dislike how many theaters around me now use regular receipt paper for tickets though... not nearly as satisfying to keep/look at.
