Honestly it was just a little dab of Elmer's All Purpose evenly spread out. I haven't had any reactions to the front of the stubs yet. The faded ones were already like that before I framed them.

It's so funny that you started this thread. I've had an idea to start the same one for months and keep forgetting to do it. I have all my stubs just sitting in a book for right now.

I just keep worrying that, in a year or two (or ten), the glue will go right through.

I've been saving mines since like '96-'98. Right now there are all in chronological order in a stamp book but I would like to display them somehow. Some of my stubs have faded The ones from the discount theaters don't stand a chance on the cheap paper they use lol.

Thought I'd bring this thread back from the dead.

I've been collecting my stubs/tickets since 2002. Decided to start storing them in plastic sleeves. A lot of the more recent ones are printed on receipt paper with ink that fades over time but luckily the titles and dates are still visible.

Here's the first one that I held onto:

I've probably amassed around 160-170. Wish I started this when I was a kid!

I have a couple special ones lying around. They're fun to revisit once in a while.

I love you, Blade Runner, baby.
That's a good idea, I might start doing this.

I used to keep my ticket stubs back when I visited more commercial theatres that actually printed the movie title/date/rating/time on them. Now when I go to the movies I only go to much smaller, independently owned theatres and they use generic tickets that they've printed themselves that only mention the name of their theatre. I suppose I could write-in the movie info myself but I never could be bothered to do that.

That said, I do save all my sporting event ticket stubs in an old shoe box. Tickets from baseball games or auto racing events.

Since 07

Several over the years have gone missing, or accidentally been thrown away. Washed a few of them, too.

My local theatres use the receipt paper so they fade after a few weeks.

My son keeps all his movie tickets. He even has the ticket for the first movie he ever saw (Bee Movie).

I've been saving my ticket stubs since 2007. The Simpsons Movie is the oldest one I have.

Love the display! That is a great idea. I wonder if they have any books for movie ticket stubs similar to the concert ticket books.

I sometimes save them for movies I really really enjoy but usually I don't. For Disney Movie Rewards they make me write all over the ticket anyway lol.

I used to save mine for about 6-7 years and then when I started working at a theatre and no longer having stubs for 90% of the movies I saw I stopped caring about it.

These days I've been using AMC's new thing to scan my phone at the ticket taker to avoid even having to waste the paper or the time in line at the box office. Order online before I leave the house and just stroll on in

I saved my TFA stub. It was the first film I'd seen at the pictures for decades.
