Thanks. For Queen's Corgi, no current release date set other than 2019 for the US, but yes, July 5 for the UK, and prior to that starting through February 2019 for other countries. Lionsgate will hopefully release the 3D version in theaters at least, as they did with Wild Life Robinson Crusoe 3D years ago. Son of Bigfoot 3D never was released in theaters in the US unfortunately.

Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk had mostly medium 3D with very little popout. Hopefully they shoot Gemini Man with a bit more strength.

February 22, 2019, How to Train Your Dragon 3 3D from Dreamworks Animation. The 3D in the trailer looks strong. Hoping for a great 3D experience.

Movies I want to see in theaters for April 2019.

Shazam 3D This looks like a fun movie. And in 3D!
Pet Sematary (maybe)
Hellboy "3" Too bad it's only 2D.
Missing Link 3D (Laika offers usually mild 3D, but I found the trailer as funny stuff and will probably see it).
Avengers Endgame 3D April 26. Can't wait!

It’s a mistake. No sign of Hellboy in 3D on any poster that I can see.

Is Missing Link not in 3D? A real shame after how good the 3D was in Kubo

I see a couple 3D showings up on Fandango, but looks like a lot of theaters will be playing it in 2D only. Certainly are more theaters to be added, but best I can tell is it will be like Wonder Park, where AMC does some 3D showings (the only 3D showings I see so far are from AMC), but most other theaters are just in 2D.

Iíve really enjoyed the 3D in recent Laika movies, so itís a shame that I doubt many people will get to see it that way. If Dumbo which was a bigger budgeted family film and seemed to have more 3D availability did just 12.5% of its domestic opening weekend in 3D, Iím guessing something like this could be in the single digits.

Hellboy 2019:
Townsville City
3:30 PM Vmax 3D

That is odd. That reminds me of Fandango's early 3D pre-sales of tickets for Alien Covenant, which only weeks prior to its release, was finally confirmed as 2D only disappointingly.

I'm 100% certain Hellboy is only in 2D. Only reason I listed those films above is because those are the ones I want to see in April, both 3D, and then separate 2D only films, as a fan of movies in general. Pet Sematary is also only a 2D film, but I much rather see Shazam this weekend in 3D, as it's a new story and looks entertaining. Pet Sematary remake looks interesting, but as a big fan of the original, I'll wait till home video to check out this new remake, which is going to probably suffer from some tough timing being released alongside Shazam and the upcoming slate of films in April.

Does anybody recall seeing a preview of Ugly Dolls in 3D? I think I probably saw the preview so many times before a 3D movie I'm making this up (?)

No. Ugly Dolls was 2D only from what I found so far. Not made for 3D, probably a lower budget. If it was in 3D, I don't think I would see it unless the 3D was amazingly strong.

Next up for 3D theaters: (Thanks to Dartfrog, page 1 of this thread)
May 2019:
Pokemon (May 10th)
Aladdin (May 24th) (next weekend)
Godzilla: King of the Monsters (May 31st.)

After a couple of months of “meh” movies (some OK 3D though by the sounds of it), we’re now about to head into a decent little run:

Toy Story 4 - 21st June
Spider-man 2 - 2nd July
(Jon Favreau’s) The Lion King - 19th July

Yeah, if they donít come it for home and /or arenít good movies then it doesnít really help me out. Weíll see though.....still nice that are we are getting 3D releases when itís suppose to be dead.
