Paradigm Tribute. They’re not made anymore, but they’re my dream speakers. I think they were $6600/pair when they were available. For current, I’ll go with Paradigm Persona 7F. $28000/pair but you can order them customized which would make them higher. Last edited by Scarriere; 09-30-2020 at 11:46 AM. Reason: Added prices |

For my choices, both are current production models. They are British and Danish respectively. US retail prices are approximately: Spendor Classic 200 - $24,995/pair Davone Ray - $7,500/pair |

If it was for my cinema then I'd go for the KEF Ci5160RL-THX 7.1 atmos surround, priced at around £11,000 / $14,500.
But if it was my dream just to buy anything then it would have to be the Audiovector R11 Arreté Floorstanding Speakers priced at around £190,000,00 / $244,000,00 |

I guess this would fall in the Go Big or Go Home Category of dream speaker.
I would love to listen to these behemoth Swans 2.3+ speakers... ![]() |

I have my eye on the new Heritage Klipschorns ($16000/pair). But too big for me to have and too expensive, my last two cars together were less than that.
However, the Cornwall IVs are expensive ($6000/pair) but doable if I put them on payments..... I have 80s era Herseys and love them, Cornwalls are like them on steroids. Love love love horn speakers ![]() |

i use those peavy amps that u use to play music with. on stage. my brother was in a band. and i have his old peavy monitors. u get a PA system. and u hook the ipod to the PA. and those things will reach into the next county. or 2. u can control volume on your ipod. plus after its cranked. u can crank up the PA volume. i only have 2. but it has 4 slots. for 2 more speakers. i crank them up and play my drums to them. their pretty nice set up. you would not believe how loud the tall peavy tower looking speakers is what im talking about 10 ft. or so. but their made for when your actually playing music in a band.

I know this thread is old, but I just now found it...
For me, anything from Magenpan starting with the 1.7i or up. I almost went with a set of the 2.x series years ago when I was going to build a dedicated 2-channel room, but I ended up going a different direction. They aren't the prettiest to look at, but Magenpan planars are the most transparent speakers I've ever had the pleasure of listening to. ![]() A runner up would be the Von Schweikert VR series if I were to stick with a cabinet design. Von Schweikert VR-4 (discontinued). These blew me away. ![]() Von Schweikert current VR Reference series VR-55. Been wanting to listen to these. I happen to live in the vicinity and am way overdue for a trip. If they're still there, that is. Haven't been to their showroom or checked in on them in years. ![]() |
