Hello - I've had my current Polk audio 5.1 setup for a good 15 years and have the itch to upgrade.
Here's my current setup: Fronts - Polk Audio Monitor 60 Series II Rears - Polk Audio Monitor 60B II Center - Polk Audio CS2 Series II Sub - BIC America F12 12-Inch 475-Watt Front Firing Powered Subwoofer Without going broke, can anyone suggest a solid upgrade to the above with Klipsch speakers? I'm pretty content with the subwoofer but just to match, I'md open to suggestions. I'm also considering going to an Atmos setup so elevation speaker suggestions would also be appreciated. Thanks! |

Those are solid speakers and if you like the sound they provide I'm not sure how much better a Klipsch setup would be, but I would say go for the RP-8000F for fronts, RP-504C for center, and RP-502S for surrounds. But the weakpoint is really the subwoofer in your current setup. I would try a SVS or HSU subwoofer. The F12 is solid for the money, the best in that price range, but it can't compete with an SVS or HSU. https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RP-80.../dp/B07G3D2S9R https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-RP-50.../dp/B07G3B5W8Y https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Surro.../dp/B07G3C2HHR https://www.hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-2mk5.html https://www.amazon.com/SVS-PB-1000-S.../dp/B00K88UMPW |

I'm pretty happy with my sound but I definitely didn't break the bank when I bought everything. I was just curious if I could do better. I think I might instead just get some height/Atmos speakers and have a 7.1 setup finally. The problem now will be finding a good way to hide the wires. |
