So far I have listed 263 speaker companies. Please help me increase the list to 300. I am sure there are a few more companies hiding out there.

I just thought of some. You don't have Realistic, JVC, Optimus, or Technics on there. Realistic and Optimus are really just old Radioshack companies but nonetheless, they are speaker companies. I could think of a few more vintage speaker brands if I really think. Curtis is also another little known company that sells speakers as well as Igloo coolers.

Plus all of those very small companies made in other countries and companies that lasted only a few years...Panasonic and Philips are some other brands that come to mind.

The list is for current manufacturers. I have a pair of small Realistic speakers. I believe Radio Shack and Technics no longer make speakers. However, JVC still makes speakers. I will add JVC and Curtis.

My first set of speakers were a set of Optimus' with a 15 inch woofer and a giant horn tweeter. My dad still has them, they suck!

You're funny Jason ! My vary first set of speakers back in high school (mid 70's) where Cerwin Vegas with A 15" woofer & 2 horned tweeters & These things where huge .

I have had Cerwin Vegas as well, mine had a 10 inch woofer and I believe it was a dome tweeter. My first speaker set way back when DVD first came out was KLH, with two whooping 6 1/2 inch passive woofers in the sub and some of the crappiest speakers ever constructed. Then I also had a $200 Sony HTiB...

Bad speakers need love too.

Radioshack makes in-wall and in-ceiling speakers still. Here are some brands of speakers sold at Radioshack according to their online site:

You may or may not have those on the list. I simply copied and pasted some of the brands they sell. What about Samsung and the other HTIB companies? Do they count? Monoprice sells their own line of speakers too.

I had a chance to audition the B-25 yesterday

also reviewed by stereophile in Jan 2009.

It was fantastic. Now I know why all the rage about ribbon tweeters. This little baby(slightly over 3 ft tall) punches harder than some of the big boys.
