I'm using the Q900,Q600 and NHT for rears with a Denon 4311ci. Kef's to me is a very clean balanced detailed speaker. I'm very happy with them just make sure you have the space for them. But it all comes down to what you like and be happy with good luck.

So the 4311ci is a good match for the KEFs? As you can see in my sig it's what I have.

I like the match up with 4311ci and KEF's. But you need to try and see if you like it in your set up.

I would enjoy a set of the Q900s in a stereo set up! They must be great fronts!

Any thoughts on the Q800DS? I'm thinking of maybe trying them or going with my original plan of having 4 Axiom QS8's for rears of which I have 2 already and think they sound very good just not sure if they'll blend well with the KEF's.

I just received my Q600C, first impression before hooking it up is OMG it's HUGE. Definately bigger than I thought it would be and much bigger than my Electromotion C2, I may post a pic for a size comparison. I'm going to be hooking it up tomorrow and put it through it's paces, can't wait!

I hooked it up because I couldn't wait, it sounds great but for some reason Audyssey set it to 110hz. This can't be right is it? Or is Audyssey not accurate with sealed boxes?

I used to have a pair of Qi30's and I loved them but sold them 3 years back. I want to get me a pair of KEF Reference 201/2 in Cherry but I see they have the KEF R300 which has great reviews and I'm wondering since the Reference 201/2 is a older speaker would I be going backwards?

Does the KEF Reference 201/2 sound better then the R/Blade series?

Hi Slickman,
Audyessy sets my fronts at 40hz and Q600c at 60hz. I change it to 60hz for the fronts and Q600c to 80hz. It turns out I had a problem with my tweeters on the two front speakers. I contact KEF and they sent me two new drivers and now I'm back and running again. Will be doing some testing next week to make sure everything is working properly.

what gauge speaker cable is suitable for the Q series KEF ; specifically the Q200 and Q300s. Is 16AWG good enough?

love KEF speakers... bought my first speakers in 1980 ... Rogers Studio 1 which had KEF drivers in them...moved up to Ref 3, then 4s, and finally 207s. upgraded my home theater in fall of 2016 from 5.1 to 5.1.4 dolby atmos using KEF Ci200RR-THX ceiling speakers....
