Impedance & Sensitivity of a Speaker, & Damping Factor

With a 4 ohm speaker, the maximum output power will be 300 watts. With a 2 ohm speaker, the maximum output power will be 500 watts. how's that?

Can you explain what you mean when you say "impendance, not impedance, is key to distributed sound"?

I am asking because "impendance" is not a word in the English language so I am not sure what you are trying to say.

I think the person meant impedance.
But I still don’t know what the statement means.
I don’t know what “Speaker Impedance “ means either. But I believe the higher number means a speaker will be easier to drive.
I don’t know all these terms and should. I know what I hear though and it sounds pretty damn good to me.

Someone commented once about my set up that it was a waste getting a 3-channel amplifier for the front 3 because the sensitivity of the speakers was high enough.
I didn’t comment back that the amplifier lightened the load for my AVR.

Stop looking at just the point blank of words. I bet all you are doing is looking at spell checks and numerous dictionaries or thesaurus to a degree. Impendance is a word, and when I say key I mean its a (factor) or important variance to distributed sound.

Just noticed this post six months later. I was not trying to pick on grammar or spelling. God knows mine is terrible. I do realize my initial post came over really douchey which was absolutely not my intention and I apologize for that. I was merely curious as to what you meant because I thought I could learn something about this awesome hobby.

That does not change the fact "impendance" is still not a word. It wasn't a real word back in July 2021 and in January 2022 it's still not a real word. That said, "impendance, not impedance, is key to distributed sound" makes zero sense when you use made-up words.
