I pre-ordered this on Amazon day one. Was eventually upset that they were offering 2D/3D combo packs cheaper. Now I see it listed on on Amazon for $48 bucks. Is there something exclusive to the 3D-only disc?

Looks like the single disc 3D includes a digital copy, not that that should make such a price difference...

The only thing exclusive is the extra $25-30 it costs for a 3D only item -- it was one of Amazon's most blatant contempts that it showed to its customers to offer a butchered release for twice the price that everyone else offered. I really to this day don't know why anyone allowed them to get away with it and apparently they still are trying. It wasn't even the first or the last Warner item they did it with, but this one may have the the worst of the bunch

The 2D/3D combo is cheaper though may/may not include any long. It's been as low as $15 in places and you can buy th digital for $4-5 most places these days -- possibly less if it's DisctoDigital eligible

I will probably get the disc at some point but for now, I watch it via Vudu's 3D streaming library.

I can't believe I slept on this movie so long. It's like it was made for me but nobody told me.

That's the power of marketing. You can attract those who won't like it or turn off those who would.

As far as I'm concerned, that car race was worth the full "price of admission".

I blind bought this movie when it came out and knew nothing about it. I absolutely loved it. I need to watch it again.

Every time one watches "Ready Player One" again, one finds at least a dozen references that were missed the previous viewing(s). Even more so in 3D.
