Probably my most desired feature is some kind of auto play for lists, would be great for curating marathons. Create your lists, choose your order, and binge one into the next.

Can you move the order of the lists around? I don't necessarily always want Star Wars dead last, or whatever order I randomly created them in. I wonder if they'll add any more on their own besides SW.

Also chiming in if there's a way to see which of your wishlist titles are on sale if there isn't a big "sale" banner above it, which there often isn't?

Love this. Just sorted my DC Animated movies in chronological order. Must write up a plan for additional lists.

Been wanting to create exactly that same list! Would you be willing to share your order?

I only own a few Star Wars movies on VUDU, but like all who had a Star Wars movie or two, it was my example list that VUDU created for me.

What's funny is that VUDU added a movie I don't own to the list. A New Hope. Back when VUDU briefly gave UV rights to MA imported films, my cousin's copy of "A New Hope" gained UV rights and was added to my UV account, which gave me a copy on VUDU. VUDU later took it away, but VUDU lists apparently remembers that brief "ownership" status.

I found that humorous.

Received a survey from VUDU Re: the Lists feature; unfortunately, no promise of credits or discounts for completing it.

I got the same, Ashley L had a summary of requested features we could crib off of if anyone is looking for ideas for feedback.

Did the survey and requested letting us pick the cover art for the folders from the movies inside and as a bonus requested letting us pick from 3 poster art for every film for the thumb art.

Copy/pasting from Ashley L's post due to lack of permalinks...
  • Ability to re-order the lists themselves
  • Show in a list which are owned/unowned
  • Show sales tags for unowned items
  • Ability to add email notifications for items in list which drop in price
  • Ability to Share lists with other users (or at least import/export)
  • Remove 200 title limit
  • Allow a text list view instead of only photos
  • Ability to add a single episode to lists

The thread includes a number of other suggestions from users, including a few I added:
  • Sequential play of list titles
  • Allow adding individual TV episodes
  • Grouping TV seasons as a single "series" thumbnail
  • Allowing lists of lists (grouping, similar to iOS apps)
  • Dynamic lists (set criteria ... a list of directors; or quality=UHD; ... and list or sub-lists are auto-populated.
  • Allowing selection of which titles are to be displayed as thumbnails, rather than defaulting to the first 3 (or 4) titles in the Custom Order.
  • Allow filtering of the movies or TV listing when bulk adding titles to a list.

(thread may be found searching for "VUDULISTSSURVEY" in the Digital Movies MeWe group)

So apparently that tweet from VUDU announcing the new "Lists" feature was too subtle for me.
You really, REALLY wanted it, now it's here. What Lists have you been waiting to create? Share screencaps of your Lists with #MyVuduLists and weíll share.

https://twitter.com/VuduFans/status/1238132877037985793

The "we'll share" apparently meant that they would randomly select users who had shared screencaps of their "My Lists" customizations as recipients of some VUDU credits...
Awesome list, astonecold_83! DM us for a surprise credit. #MyVuduLists

I have plenty of time given I'm working from home and not really going anywhere, so I rebuilt some of my lists backward to get them in the right order, but I don't want to keep doing that for sure.

Out of curiosity, what type of order are you going for?

Right now I have a bunch of lists of things I plan on watching with friends at the top, both because I've been doing a lot of quarantine watch-alongs over Skype and whatnot so I'm looking at them most often, and so the friends can find them more easily.

I made lists for films directed by women (3 lists, 1930-2009/2010s/2020-?), because I do the #52FilmsByWomen pledge that LA Women in Film came up with every year, and by making it easy to browse them I can encourage other people with access to my account to do the pledge too; for my 4K UHD titles (same divisions), again for my benefit and others'; and for franchises (#-F/G-L/M-R/S-Z), the last one mostly because it seemed like it could be useful for stuff to throw on in the background while I'm working from home. Right now the three franchise lists are at the top, then 4K UHD, then the films directed by women. When I can rearrange the lists, I'll be putting franchises on the bottom, 4K UHD in the middle, and the "directed by women" list just underneath all the friend lists.

At the bottom, I have a 3-part films by women wishlist (#-I/J-R/S-Z), and a final single list for things that are owned in 4K but aren't 4K on VUDU yet, 4K stuff I own but really didn't like, and finally stuff I actually am going to have deleted from my VUDU account.

I love this list feature. I wish there was a way to reorder lists as right now the most recent list you create is at the top but would like to have the Star Wars list at the top.

So far I have 53 lists. Im curious to know what lists you all have made or are planning to make. I made lists of movie franchises that I own if there is at least three or more.

Here are some of the lists I have made:
All-time Favorite Movies
Marvel Cinematic Universe
DC extended universe
DC Animated films
Superman Collection
Batman Collection
Spider-man Collection
X-men and Deadpool Collection
Arnold Schwarzenegger Collection
Tom Hanks Collection
Drew Barrymore Collection
Robin Williams Collection
Music Biopics
Musicals
Disney Pixar Collection
Disney Animated films(non Pixar)
Icons or Horror(and their sequels)
War Movies and Miniseries(w/Band of Brothers)
Favorite Romantic Comedies/Romance movies
Favorite Gangster Movies
Best Picture Winners
Steven Spielberg Collection
Disney Live Movie Remakes
John Hughes Collection
Chicago Sports Collection(Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series Champions, Chicago Blackhawks 2015 Stanley Cup Champions, and Michael Jordan to the Max)
Karate Kid Trilogy w/Cobra Kai

The rest are all big movie franchises.
