I clicked on the $89.99 page.

While that is the price, in the description it says upgrade from PS4 to PS5 for $40.

Anyway, $40 will be the actual price August 20th Digital.

If you want to pre-order, Sony will take $90+tax. Iím sure people have already gone ahead & did that.

Holy shit. They've actually realised that the pound and the dollar hold a different level of value. Since they're making us pay seventy god damn pounds for seventy dollar games nowadays, I really thought they'd make us pay thirty pounds for these updates.

Wow I'm impressed. Way better than the $20 I paid for the FFVIIR DLC and only got 4 hours of playtime out of it.

Standard PS4 version is $30 at Best Buy; makes the PS5 Directorís Cut $60 on Day One through the upgrade path.

Just started playing it and honestly maybe its the ps5 or Oled but it just doesn't appear as impressive as the reviews made it out to be.

AC:Valhalla on PS5/XS seems to have more depth and better visuals and I'd even say refined combat.

There's been a few great scenes but so far it feels like almost a shell of an AC game from pre-Odyssey

The combat becomes very expansive when you get new stances, abilities, and throwables.

The upgrade is kind of confusing. Ghost of Ikishima is $20 and the PS5 upgrade is $10 if I'm understanding correctly. So yeah, $30 in total.

$30 for those in US nets you the upgrade & DLC.
$40 for those in Canada.

$10 for those who do not want the DLC but want the upgrade.

Not that confusing. Maybe if they only marketed the DLC & only 1 fee, that would of eliminated confusion.

The last trailer does indeed look like assets are upgraded in-game such as character models, world etc. More than just a Resolution bump. So thatís nice to see.

Yeah it's really the marketing that is confusing. It's not simplified enough, maybe it's just me.

I’ve been thinking about just getting the DLC and not upgrading to the PS5 native version after picking up the base version sooner than expected with that $30 sale. Going to wait until we get some hands on info to see is the PS5 version is worth the $10 extra.

I'm thinking the same thing. DLC should be more than enough for me. But like you said, I'll see if the $10 is worth it before fully deciding.

Make sure you do the entire lower area first. There are some missions that unlock abilities but you're not notified in advance. I almost completed the second area before going back and unlocking some of them.

What happened to that BF sale?

I want it physically, but not for $70.

I had my eyes on a $50 price but with the current sale it would be $60 all said and done (if I go PS5 native). $20 was worth the wait, $10 wasnít. And I just watched Snake Eyes so my brain is pre-disposed to ninjas/samurai
