I had contacted Shout about any possibile releases for Death Wish 3-5 any time soon. They replied there is no plans for the foreseeable future.

I think you guys expecting a little too much considering most of the participants in those films are no longer with us as well as even most of the behind-the-scenes people that's relevant, so I could see that just to put like maybe a historian commentary as the only extra isnt going to justify a double dip

Makes sense. If Shout can't load the others up with extras, none of them have a 'hook' for SE release, like the uncut version of Part 2. (Except Part 5, which is fullscreen DVD-only in the U.S., but Lionsgate doesn't seem to license stuff out.)

I have: Part 1: Paramount Steelbook, Part 2: Shout Factory SE, Parts 3, 4: MGM triple feature (also includes theatrical cut of Part 2), Part 5: Lionsgate DVD Action Pack Vol. 2 (w/ 7 other low-budget action movies on two discs). I'm good for now.

I recently watched the German BD of "Death Wish 5". That film is quite a bit better than I remember. As much as I love Charlie, he's completely mailing it in. But Michael Parks is absolutely incredible as the villain. Just an over the top, scenery-chewing tour de force of a performance. It's a really nasty, sadistic movie that's a lot of fun.

Anyone here able to comment on the audio on the German release from NSM? I have the Australian release from Umbrella, but I've always felt that the audio was mixed very quietly. Just wondring if it's an identical DTS-HD MA 1.0 track globally, or if there's a better option out there.

I've got the Death Wish 2 + 3 set from Australia's Umbrella. Is the PQ on the US Scorpion Releasing version of Death Wish 3 dramatically better? It's advertised as being a new 2k scan from an interpositive.

It seems hard to find good sources for Australian releases with international shipping.

Been trying to get hold of the Umbrella bluray double feature of Death Wish 4 & 5 for a while now, but to no avail so far. :-/

It was tough for me to source a copy of this release as well considering I went to buy it after it had been OOP at the usual online USA retailers who import Umbrella. What I ended up doing was searching the Australia eBay site and then asking Sellers if they would post to me. In the end someone said yes and I was waiting a bit of time for them to relist it with US shipping and then myself being awake in order to grab it.

So maybe this route will work for you and even be less time consuming in a worst case scenario.

I keep seeing a random listing on Bullmoose for something Death Wish-related The first got a 4K from Kino, the second from VS. 4 and 5 on BD coming from Kino and already have Bullmoose pages. I don't imagine the 2018 film is popular enough for a 4K upgrade. Is there anything that this could be for?

Similar to how they did Rollerball as a 4K only title (the Blu-ray rights still being with Scorpion), maybe Shout might do a 4K of the third film?

That's the first thing that came to mind, but I guess it would depend who it's coming from. I wouldn't expect this random page to show up if it's from OCN/VS. If it's coming from Shout, then that's a possibility.
