hi, i am mike and new to this as well. just found this site on tuesday 11-3-09, and it is right up my street, being new to blu-ray (a month now) some interesting reading.

Hello I am new to this forum and to Blu-ray in general. I just bought a Pioneer BDP-51,like it a lot and good bang for the buck. Also own a Denon 2910 DVD player which can play SACD, but not willing to part with the $3800 for Denon's new 'universal' player.
I notice one odd thing on playing Blu-ray movies. Hellboy 2 has annoying box in upper right corner,inside of which is what looks like little speaker icons. Anyone else see this and how to get rid of it?

I can't answer your question, but you should post within the Blu-Ray Player/Recorder section, under either the Pioneer or Denon Blu-Ray player thread. You will probably get a quicker and more in depth answer there. Sorry I could not be of more help! Good luck!
