2012 is supposed to bring a lot to earth. Some say we will enter a new age, others think we will all die, most think it will just be another year.

Talk about crazy theories, ancient propheicies and some scientific facts regarding 2012.

I predict peoples electric bills will be higher due to the rise of the electric car and environmental levies placed on utilities.

I also predict that blu-ray will still be here and we'll still be discussing aspect ratios and grain

Whats with the PQ on the movie 300?!! I cant really describe it, but i looks like some kind of.........uh......grain covering the whole screen or something.

i didn't even notice that, there were these two massive black bars on the sides.

you'd think if i bought a 3k WIDESCREEN HDTV, they could at least fix this issue by now.

ive seen that, its so laughable. supposedly back in 2003 it was rumored that this planet was gonna swing bye. there is an absolutely hysterical video in retorospec on youtube.

its like in 2003 the planet Nibiru will appear to the masses

the other hysterical youtube poster is a lady by the name of peggy kane.

she walks around with some type of recorder and then visits grave yards and other sites and then plays here tape in reverse and says she can her things from other diminsions and worlds.

supposedly a reptilian race has put a cosmic net around Earth and Mars keeping us from going too far out in the solar system. This net also keeps souls from getting out after people die and the Reptilians are oppressing the dead in another life. The planet Nibiru though is quickly approching and has a race of very good people on it, who are at war with the reptilians, there will soon be a cosmic level war between the good aliens/us vs. these horrible reptilians.

I read somewhere that the planet Niribu is a planet of giant people (the Zentradi?). If that's the case, we better start working on overtechnology to combat those giants. (I hope Macross fans catch the humor in this post).

There are two major events that happen in this year:

1)Many esoteric sources interpret the completion of the thirteenth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calendar (which occurs on December 21 by the most widely held correlation) to mean there will be a major change in world order.

2) Astrologer John Jenkins has determined that on this date, there will be "an extremely close conjunction of the northern hemisphere winter solstice sun with the crossing point of the Galactic equator and the ecliptic", an event that will not be repeated for thousands of years.

The idea being that the Mayans predicted that something big was going to happen in 2012, and that the solar system is aligning (so-to-speak) in a new way that hasn't been seen for thousands of years. It could mean nothing, and it could mean everything. Only 4 years to go!
