Hey there everyone, BlightThrower here. 2022 was the year I finally pulled the trigger on collecting Blu-Ray/UHD. Been a Genre Film fan for years, grew up with my Dad being an avid collector of Troma films so I kind of grew up with an appreciation of B-Movies/Schlock thanks to my old man. Most of my collection's focus is (surprise surprise) 70s/80s Horror and Martial Arts films.

In addition to enjoying movies, I'm also a record collector. Huge focus on Heavy, Black, and Speed Metal but I really enjoy stuff like Dark Ambient, Dungeon Synth, and Power Electronics/Harsh Noise as well. I'm also a tabletop dork too, pretty frequently play Warhammer 40k or the odd boardgame here or there.

I think I sufficiently hit every checkmark for Horror loving Metalhead in his 30s. Hit me up if you ever want to chat or have a Cynthia Rothrock movie you're trying to get rid of!

Hi everyone. While I've visited this site thru Google search results etc., I'm new otherwise. Does anyone know if you can import your collection from CLZ Movies? I only seen two options besides adding them manually.

Hey everyone, long time lurker here. I've been reading these forums since UHDs started coming out, and have been collecting for about that same amount of time. Figured it was finally time to create an account!

Most of my collection are standard Blockbusters, but I've recently gotten very into horror, so I've been buying a lot of Shout Factory for the past few months. Also trying to branch out a bit more and got a few VS releases during their Valentine's sale.

Besides movies, my main (or only I guess) hobbies are video games and Warhammer.

Not that new, but have picked up over 1000 titles since xmas. Prior to that I had the dark knight and spears & munsil on blu. Twenty years prior had around 500 laserdiscs and pretty much skipped dvd and bluray purchases… downloading and streaming instead. My purchase of a $100 denon surround receiver is costing me thousands lol. Huge difference with the uncompressed audio and 4k from disc looks pretty damn good as well. If I could just get the app to sync with the site for non-scannable titles, I could get back to the dozens here waiting to be listed in my collection

Hi everyone, I'm from the UK and am just getting started collecting my favourite films available from boutique labels and dipping my toe into 4k as well. This site is amazing and I love the app as well for tracking things and making a wishlist. I can't wait to contribute!

I can't tell if this forum has saved me money or caused me to spend even more. Probably spend even more.

Wasn't until I discovered blu-ray.com that I even knew there -were- multiple versions of blu rays, and which one I get can make a huge difference (first noticed this on To Catch a Thief and the "vaseline on the lens" version To Catch a Thief).
