I saw it at Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago for $29.96, but that's still much IMHO.

To each their own, but 30 bucks is too much for 50 shorts and a boat load of special features on Blu-ray?

Yep, it will drop to $25 eventually. Patience as a virtue has never been more true than with buying movies.

Default How well is this set selling?

Anyone know of how well this set is selling? I'm hoping for future volumes, but I've heard that it would be dependent on how well this set had sold.

I'm waiting on the same price.

I'm also waiting on the two half-seasons of Futurama (5 & 6) to be bundled together for $30, or sold separately for $15.

I just got this from the Amazon sale for $35. Numbered 289 out of 36,000. Wow I guess you don't have to order really early to get a low number lol.

Yes the ultimate edition includes the digibook along with some special collectors items like a shot glass, lithograph, a letter of authenticity, and souvenir tin sign.

It's a good thing we got so many of the really good ones in this set, then. Just in case...

Did anyone else notice this?
I bought mine a few weeks ago when it was on sale at Amazon, and it arrived the other day - I was really looking forward to watch the classic 'toons. When the first cartoon came on my heart sank a little bit.

Yes, I did notice - I thought they were going to be substantially remastered like the classic Disney feature film Blu-rays: not a spec in sight. However, I was relived to see many cartoons following looking a lot better. Between them all some were worse and some were better.

I never purchased any of the LT DVD sex so this, and the following sets, are perfect for me. But I will only be getting them on sale.

Peace.

I'm not trying to bring this thread out of the dead, in fact it got a couple posts a little before the database loss. But I was just posting becasue I was curious that if Warner Brothers would release these like their doing with The Big Bang Theory with Blu-Ray+DVD. Personally this was my first Looney Tunes purchase and I want to see some of these without my laptop so I wouldn't mind but do any of you mind if and will Warner will release the future as combos?

That's doubtful, unless Warner moves to combos for every single release. The switch on television product makes sense to reduce possible skus for retailers.
