Well, we showed the necessary grit and dug in for the draw. To stop Chelsea scoring for the first time this season was an achievement on its own. Good match as well with 45,000 fans creating a fantastic atmosphere and we really got behind the team and roared them on. Next up is a Man City! having said that, we have beat them 1-0 at home for the past four seasons!

Getting back to 4K, I was tempted to get David Attenborough's Life Stories this week but if it was shot in 4K, I may wait and make it my first 4K bluray!

I would have thought you would already know that 4k discs are coming late next year? Surely you researched that before splashing out on a new 4k tv? Also Netflix and Amazon are/will be streaming in 4k (poor mans 4k in my opinion) very soon. I think Netflix has already started.

I know this isn't strictly 4K related but I saw Interstellar in 2K digital a couple days ago and I thought it looked excellent overall. The super-soft shots like McConaughey crying were present and correct, but I wasn't imagining the clarity of the shots of Jessica Chastain that I mentioned previously (though that may have been in the large format movie thread). Even her non-IMAX shots have a genuine sense of sharpness and detail, and it's strange how this movie seems to do the opposite of the Hollywood convention of lensing the ladies with a soft filtered look.

but I wouldn’t at all be surprised if rather than simply taking Michael’s word and that of the hired investigators from the cyber forensics firm, some former employees and perhaps even some current employees decide to test in a court of law the premise that the Company actually failed to install/implement adequate security measures and that the employees subsequently have suffered injury-in-fact in the form of, among other things …embarrassment, inconvenience, mental distress, concern for identity theft, concern for damage to credit reports and, god forbid, actual identity theft.

I would say that the corporate structure at Sony Pictures better hope that a state-sponsored agency (in this case, North Korea) were the culprits rather than a private group of international hackers using similar tactics because the former would probably make it easier for the cyber geek experts to prove that there wasn’t negligence involved in terms of inadequate security measures. Just wondering if I should sell off a little of my family’s shares now in case things get really ugly and SNE stock price takes a big dip.

SNE stock value seems to be weathering the storm, though .
