Wanting to make sure I’m reading the 4Ksheet and forum posts right. For Logan, which I already have in HDX, I don’t really have a way to redeem a UHD code, right? It apparently only redeems in iTunes (???) and with me already having the movie there, the code would get burned or just do nothing, yes?

Good news. You can redeem any code for Logan into iTunes and it will UPGRADE your title. iTunes allows for upgrades by codes (codes being a loophole because iTunes does not allow you to repurchase titles). In general you can use codes for any title you already own to get a higher quality - there are some oddball scenarios where codes get burned but none that I know of are with iTunes.

Iím assuming you mean redeeming a non-4K code would upgrade within iTunes, but not all the way to MA, right?

Also, to redeem, Iíd just go to the Redeem option at the bottom of the Movies tab in the iTunes app and try it there? No gifting workaround or other silliness, just straightforward redeem a UHD code for Logan and it will give me UHD across all MA providers?

Upgrades in iTunes. Transfers to MA and connected platforms (VUDU). At least it did for me.

You will need to go to https://foxredeem.com/, enter your code, pick iTunes as the place to redeem.

It'll then re-direct you to iTunes to redeem the title using a new code. It'll redeem in 4K, and port to MA as such, and then on to your respectively linked services as UHD, provided they offer it in UHD (Amazon does not).

Its not possible since the Star Trek Kelvin Trilogy has not yet been released in UHD quality. Hopefully it'll work with a future release.

Someone on the thread for it says otherwise. He redeemed and got 4K copies from Vudu.

Yep, they're definitely 4K on Vudu. Not sure if that gives UHD rights on UV though as Star Trek Beyond initially didn't.

On MeWe also someone posted the the Kelvin Timeline trilogy set redeems UHD for Star Trek films; however there is no clear release for this in uhd yet. People find all sorts of ways to get discs early but not something for the masses yet.

Is there any chance that the UHD Peanuts Holiday Collection will ever redeem in 4K?
