I think a cult label has a chance of releasing the film on blu-ray, some of the most obscure films in history have gotten a blu-ray.

Well, now that Lionsgate has decided to release American Psycho 2 on blu-ray, I don't think it's impossible for this one to receive one as well.

Still waiting for this underrated & excellent horror flick to get a Blu release. The DVD is OK, but there's a lot of room for improvement.

I wonder, if a blu-ray were to materialize, that they would port of over the secret of esrever that was on the DVD?

Me too. There's a big fanbase for this one; the Vestron label seems to be its only chance at getting a legitimate release. Hopefully someday...

I've been a longtime fan of this movie. I think it's criminally underrated; it is one of the most atmospheric films of the era and was smarter than people gave it credit for. I've been clamoring for a Blu-ray release for a long time now, and am surprised it hasn't happened at this point. I've had the DVD for nearly two decades now. It's time for it to get a new retrospective release. Scream Factory would do it right I think, but they don't have access to Lionsgate's catalog as far as I know.
