Epson LS12000 will do full Dolby Vision with an 8k Arcana2 spoofer inserted in the pathway from receiver/processor to the projector. Looks out of this world.
JVC with comparable features will cost double, the quad pixel shifting on the LS12000 has some swear it looks just as good as native panels. Don't forget the LS11000 little brother, almost same machine with lower contrast in a white chassis. |

Epson EH-LS12000B:
Optoma UHZ65LV:
Ultimately, the choice between the two projectors depends on your specific preferences and viewing environment. If you prioritize color accuracy and connectivity options, the Epson EH-LS12000B might be a better fit. On the other hand, if image sharpness and contrast are more important to you, the Optoma UHZ65LV could be the right choice. |

In my line of work. I supply projectors to the Automotive industry for their conference, demo, and training rooms, and the Epson has consistently proven to be a reliable option. The LS12000 performs exceptionally well in various lighting situations. While these projectors may not offer true 4K resolution, they utilize pixel shift technology, which delivers impressive results compared to Sony and JVC's True 4K projectors. Numerous reviews echo the sentiment that all these projectors offer excellent picture quality. If I were to rate the Epson, I would consider it a Best Buy for the money. It shines brightly, produces sharp images, and is known for its reliability. On a personal note, I currently utilize a BenQ HT9060 projector alongside an OPPO UHD 205, and the combination works exceptionally well on my 120" white screen. The Epson projector is a top choice with its reliable performance, excellent picture quality, and an impressive warranty. However, it's worth noting that Optoma may not match the same level of build quality as some other leading brands in the industry. ![]() |
