I got the zine and I'd only ordered Miami Blues. Nice touch though, there's an article about early Verhoeven and I'd walk over broken glass if Radiance somehow got the rights.

Fair play to Radiance’s store on their turnaround times - decided to order A Woman Kills & Cutter’s Way at about 2pm today and had a shipment notification within an hour.

I love everything about Big Time Gambling Boss. The movie, the quality of the disc and the awesome case with the obi containing all informations and keeping the front and back(!) clean.

How about a Kihachi Okamoto WWII-Trilogy box with Human Bullet, Japan's Longest Day and Battle of Okinawa?
The more Japanese titles the better. I'm wondering how far out Yakuza Graveyard is, and after that we don't know much, but there should be more titles. Lets see if we get some hints soon.

Talking of Yakuza Graveyard, I just saw Radiance's tease for upcoming announcement of spine number 2, and immediately thought 'surely that's Yakuza Graveyard'? Just checked my copy of Sight & Sound, and it's slightly hard to make out, but sure enough it does look like a 2 on the spine. That said, the tease has different colour artwork; blue and dark grey, instead of brown and red.

The other title that looks like it has a single-digit spine number is The Iron Prefect, but the artwork colours are wrong again, and the only single digit spine number not yet accounted for is 2. So if the artwork colours haven't been changed, the only ones that match up with the blue/grey are Witness in the City or Goodbye & Amen...but both don't have a single-digit spine number according to the S&S advert.

Alternatively, it could be a title not yet teased, and I'm guessing it'll be a nice surprise if it was the second title scheduled. Guess we'll find out in less than a fortnight!

I thought the same, then I went to the website and looked at the images. The Man on the Roof has both #2 and #9, so one of them must be an older design.

That stopped my train of speculation.

The Man on the Roof is definitely #9 though...right?

Perhaps #2 was being juggled around with different titles and it's finally been settled now? If that's the case, Witness in the City seems likely due to the artwork matching up, otherwise it's a complete surprise.

I think 2 might Yakuza Graveyard. Fran did say it was supposed to another Japanese title with their launch slate, but he changed his mind and went for Big Time Gambling Boss. I love Yakuza Graveyard, so hope the wait isn't too long.

Received my films today. Took a while, but not Radiance's fault. O noticed the package stated "Limewood Media" as the sender. Are Radiance and Indicator/Powerhouse Films connected? Anyway, even though the packaging was great, one of the blu-ray's was unfortunately damaged (case + cover). The covers are really flimsy by the way, did anyone else notice? They also included a magazine, which was a nice extra to receive

Limewood are a distribution service that they both use. All the Anime/Anime Limited use them as well.

I think so. Married to the Mob already has a standard edition scheduled, I imagine the same will happen with actual Radiance titles soon.

I noticed in today's email that they mention "Don't forget to join us next month for new announcements! We will be unveiling all new releases from Radiance!". I wonder if that means they'll be not-yet-known titles, or just detailing a couple of the ones they teased in Sight & Sound?

Second Sight and Anti-Worlds do as well, and there are probably others I'm forgetting? I suppose they offer an alternative to, say, Arrow.

There's apparently still some available at retailers, just not directly through Radiance.

Still thinking of maybe getting Married to the Mob, but I’m waiting for the 8th in case something is announced to be in stock then also, so I can make a bigger order. I hope it lasts until then.

Surprised that my copy of Miami Blues arrived from HMV today (only had the dispatch email yesterday).
Watched it tonight and thought it was a decent little dark comedy crime film, with the main players all good to watch. Plenty of funny moments - mainly Baldwin’s numerous opportunist crimes.
One downside - Paul Gleason was disappointingly underused.

I'll be really interested in what people think Miami Blues looks like visually because every prior release, be it DVD or Blu Ray, always looked just a little too bright for me.

Any comment on the picture quality? I remember Fran stating somewhere that some restoration was done for this release. Looking forward to receiving my copy.
