that's really too bad. my whole purpose of going to that area would be a Tiger safari so i'd be pretty disappointed to return without seeing one

I know this will never happen but I would love to visit a lot of these places that have the beautiful landscapes of TV series that I have...Broadchurch, Rosemary & Thyme, Wallander, Midsomer Murders, The Killing, The Bridge, 35 Diwrnod, etc.!!

I have always felt led to go to Cuba. My Mothers Fathers Mother was Cuban. Don't have any particular reason for wanting to go. Just feel like I need to go at some point in my life time.

Last year was my first time to Europe. I had originally planned on spending 13 days in Ireland but I ended up spending about 60 days and seeing less than what I had wanted to

I'll definitely get back someday though! Ireland was always at the top of my list.

Because my Ireland trip was more expensive than I had anticipated, I won't be going back to Europe this year. I am going to try and do a small 6-10 day trip up to British Columbia in September. I love the mountains and while that would be the main reason for going, I do plan on spending some time in the cities Victoria and Vancouver.

Next year I am hoping to get to Czech Republic but if I do go to Europe, I may decide on a different country. I pretty much want to go to every European country

I do some sourcing on another movie board that has mostly European members so maybe I could do some couch surfing someday

Fodors has a good message boards if anyone is planning a trip soon

Next trip is to Longyerben in the Svalbard archipelago (arctic circle) in Norway . I like polar travel. Hope to see polar bears in the wild.

Always wanted to go to NYC, the media makes it seem like the world revolves around that city and I'd just like to soak in all that culture - artificial or not - at least once.

Personally though, I have a weird obsession with death, not of people but places. I love it when people make editorials about some far off place they visited that time forgot, it's just so fascinating.

The Colosseum is a fantastic sight...and the Forum across from it is great also.

I'd love to book Italy for next year but it's not really suited for our child so it will probably be somewhere in Spain.

Many places - the main ones that come to mind are:

1) Rome - to see the ancient ruins / history
2) Vatican City - to see St Peters, Sistine Chapel, art collections
3) Amalfi Coast
4) North Face of Eiger / Swiss towns in and around that area
5) Pretty much all of UK
