Yes the digital effects were lower resolution. In a few shots you can see the pixels a bit if you look for it.

All the 4K premieres in this got the nice new higher res font but Crouching Tiger still has the old low res font with the heavy shadow. Pity.

Bad. Lower resolution (anything slanted or curved looking more like a staircase) and an ugly shadow behind.

Thought this ugliness was behind us. Shame they couldn't just run the same text they already had for Crouching Tiger through their software again.

We have all done that sadly life isn't fair but with these big boxsets I always play the waiting game. This one was ringing alarm bells due to lack of digital codes and Blu-rays.

Yes, and actually I expect that won't be the lowest price either. I had a strong feeling this set was going to underperform (and I don't say this with any happiness).

There are only so many people willing to spend a large sum over an extremely varied selection of niche movies that don't have much to do with one another.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if this set drops below $100 soon. I am personally waiting for +/- $110, I think $140 is too expensive for this set given the diversity of the titles. I am interested in 4 titles, but can justify spending $10 per title on average.
