I received my set from Amazon. I too have one disc that is scratched (SLC Punk) while the rest are fine. Used the e-mail link for Sony’s customer service that was recently shared here. Had to jump through a lot of hoops and had to answer a bunch of questions and also had to submit some photos. Hopefully it’s enough.

Lots of people commented on this earlier, it seems like they used recycled cases. A couple of mine had glue or heating marks on the spine from old plastic wrapping that had been removed

Nice outer box and transfers, but otherwise poor quality control by Sony. All of my individual cases in this set have that residue to varying extremes. Call Me By Your Name, Crouching Tiger & Still Alice all have light scratches and were not loose which means it had to come from the manufacturer (Call Me & Crouching play with no issues for me, have not tested Alice yet). Unfortunately my copy of Run Lola was loose and has few light scratches but it could be from being loose (disc plays fine as well). I'm happy that physical media is still being produced, but a little more care would be appreciated.

Expedited shipping as nothing to do with that though. IOSS doesn't "support" totals exceeding $150/150€ so it was pretty clear that you would be hit with import fees.

It's already arrived, you need to pay the import fee before they can hand it over. It's got nothing to do with the shipping speed.

I had the option until a few minutes ago on Amazon US and AU but not any longer on either site. Delivery times for me in Australia were indicated as from the 26 of Jan or later which makes me think they really had no stock at hand.

My third set came from Target and yeah Orlando slipcover same damage as always and one large crease on the back of CMBYN. Several of the artwork slips have some edged tears, but nothing too bad. Half the cases have that disgusting residue.

My order updated shortly after to show Dec 18-21. I see it still popping in and out of stock as well. What did your end of Dec. estimate say?

Mine still says arriving 28 of DEC, at the time of the order it said "In stock" but considering I've ordered it 7 days ago and the order hasn't moved I think they are counting on future deliveries at least for the stock they send abroad. They might give priority to local sales that have a chance of arriving before Christmas.

LOL, it reappeared on Amazon AU but not in the US. (only 1 in stock) but this time instead of the AUD$240 that was ten minutes ago now is AUD$369.

Amazon for me is like playing lottery these days.

Had to get The Devil's Backbone off Eba but it was under 30 so I don't feel too bad. I wish I had known there would never be standalones because I waited on The Taxi Driver and now you can't get that under 70 now. I really hate the way they do this.

I can see The Celluloid Closet or SLC Punk never getting standalone release, but Taxi Driver? No chance, too big of a title for Sony to just lock in a vault.

Even if you look at the BDs, the 2011 release was pretty definitive for 1080p, yet they still put out 2 more editions after that: the Mi4K and the 40th anniversary one.
