Network, Odeon Entertainment, Renown Pictures and Simply Media titles thread

There doesn't appear to be an existing thread on the forum for the UK labels Network, Odeon Entertainment, Renown Pictures and Simply Media. They release mostly black and white British films (including 'B' movies) and mostly release them on DVD (some of Odeon Entertainment's titles have been RKO films). Source of the titles and their release dates (subject to change) below is Amazon UK.

Renown Pictures, this past month, released their latest double feature titles:

Yes, this is not a film title, but as Simply Media don't seem to release many TV titles, thought it would be worth including in this thread. Simply Media are releasing a DVD set in November of the first series of Softly Softly: Task Force (16 episodes in total). The UK release date is Monday 18th November (source: Amazon UK, and title and it's release date is subject to change).

This is rather confusing, regarding Odeon Entertainment's release of A Study in Terror, the John Neville film. There's an ad in the new issue of Sight & Sound magazine, featuring four forthcoming Odeon titles - Tommy, The Asphyx, Lady for a Day and A Study in Terror. It mentions that A Study in Terror is being released on DVD and Blu-ray on 11th November, yet Amazon UK only lists a DVD release.

EDIT: The Blu-ray of A Study in Terror is listed on Odeon Entertainment's new look website.

Also being released on Blu-ray by Odeon Entertainment in November is the Roger Moore film Gold.

odeon's website has a listing where one can order a blu-ray of A Study In Terror right under the dvd listing, but I can't find the bd listed anywhere else on the internet. somebody needs to contact Odeon and ask them what is going on.

Have only ordered film DVDs/Blu-rays from Moviemail, and they have usually sent them in bubble backed envelopes.

On Moviemail's main website page, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, under the 'Help' heading is a category called 'Postage Rates'. There's something on the 'Help Centre - Postage Rates' page about Western Europe and International postage. But it's probably best to email Moviemail just to make sure about the Western Europe and international postage rates.

Am hoping Amazon UK will eventually add Odeon's Blu-ray of A Study in Terror to their website. It's rather odd, when Odeon's Blu-ray of the Roger Moore film Gold is up on Amazon UK and not A Study in Terror, and Gold was released on the same day (last Monday).

Independent British distributors NetworkDVD have confirmed that they are planning to add three classic titles to their Blu-ray catalog: Lindsay Anderson's This Sporting Life (1963), Basil Dearden's Victim (1961), and Paul Henreid's Ballad in Blue (1964). The three titles are expected to arrive on the UK market in May.

Richard Harris gives a career-best performance as the brutally competitive miner, strongly supported by Rachel Roberts as his bitter landlady, both of whom received Oscar nominations, with Roberts winning the BAFTA for Best British Actress. Ballad in Blue

Making his only major film appearance, legendary soul singer, musician and composer Ray Charles helps transform the lives of a blind boy and his widowed mother in this poignant, uplifting film drama set in mid-1960s London.
