I went for the same , had the studio 100s and 690c for close to 8 years and upgraded to the 95 f and 55c . What a difference....

I have them. All speakers at 80 and 60 for my 2 channel listening. I have an option in my Pre to set them separately.

In case some haven't noticed, there's a sale going on for the Prestige line right now. Not sure how long it will last though. Just ordered some 85f for my front wides.

I'm in the market for some new speakers.

I'd be interested to hear from anybody who has heard the 5F or 7F

I read this reviews

https://www.devialet.com/soon/expert...gm/persona_7f/

https://www.audioreputation.com/paradigm-persona-5f/

I have a small listening room - only 13’ x 22’ with 9’ ceilings ...but open on two sides. I sit almost nearfield, and my current DIY voxativ speakers are less than a foot from the front wall.

Any suggestion....

Thanks

Default Prestige Line vs Monitor V7 line

I currently have the Monitor 11 v7 towers as my L/R mains, the Monitor 9 v7 towers as my surrounds and the Monitor Center 3 v7 as my center. I've always thought the center was a little too small and have always wanted a larger one. As the Center 3 was the largest that series had at the time, I went with it. There's currently a sale on the Premier line and I'm wondering/tempted to get one, even though I know better than to mix the front speaker staging....lol.

Is the Premiere Line "really" any better than the last original Monitor v7 line?

Is it just a renamed/refaced original Monitor line or are there significant improvements?

Are any real "said" improvements going to mess up the staging if I bought just the Premiere center 600C and used it with the Monitor 11's OR are they close enough in age/tech that it's still pretty much the Paradigm sound for that price level?

I could buy the L/R mains at a later date....of course provided they didn't go to town on their lineup again like when they dropped the Signatures and Studios and not be available anymore......lol

I had Monitor 9's and Center 3, all V7, as well and liked them a lot.
Like you, I felt the Center was a bit small. But it sure took what I dished out! I used it LOUDLY in a smallish room. It never lacked or was a weak point. That is/was an excellent speaker. I cannot describe how it'd be in a larger room, but I had zero complaints.

I now have Premier 800's and a 600 and am very happy.
My hearing isn't good enough to discern wether the 600 matches well with Monitor 11's, I am sorry that I can't help with that.
But what I do know, is that the 600 is a completely excellent speaker in that price range. Maybe even in a higher range too.
If you got it, I seriously doubt that you'd be disappointed.

I loved those Monitor v7 speakers. I think you've got it pretty good, sound wise and whatever you do, it won't be a mistake.

So you're going 2 front, 2 middle and 2 rear?
I love your choice and speakers!
Along with your front wides, that is insane!!
After your install, please put pics in your gallery. That'd be crazy to see.

2 top front, 2 top middle, and 2 top rear. The 80-A are angled so those are going in the front and back and pointing towards the listener. The 80-R are firing straight down so for the middle. Yes, I have a pair of 85f for my front wides. Right now I have 4 15b's for my side and rears but I'm thinking of maybe going 4x 75f. I just ordered 2 more Anthem MCA 525 to add to the one I already have and that will give me my 15 channels + sub (16 channels). This will all be processed by the Trinnov Altitude 16.

This is what chaos I'm living in right now until I finish building my room. You can see the 95f, 85f, 55c, and 15b.

And my other speaker finally arrived so the set is complete!

Would the Monitor SE Atom speakers be good for front L and R speakers in a home theater, or would towers like the Monitor SE 3000F be better?

The Monitor SE Atom's would lack bass, the Monitor SE 3000F would put out more bass. Are you planning on adding a subwoofer to augment the bass?
I would personally go with the Monitor SE 3000F if you are planning to use them as front left and front right.
