If you watched, what did you think? I had high hopes for this one. I had three people I follow, but I don't know. I want to like it, maybe after a few more episodes. It seemed the laugh track was in the wrong places or maybe the track sounded too fake, but I didn't laugh at any of those spots.

I watch most things, and was a huge fan of Miranda, so I gave it a shot. It was... fine. Had a few moments to make it watchable, but they relied too much on the similarities with Miranda to make it it's own show.

The main problems I had was the slightly more serious tone and I didn't feel any chemistry between Kat and Max. Plus uppity personality of the mother just doesn't work as well with an American though and comes off colder than the British counterpart.

I'll keep watching before deciding if I care or not, but I'd probably tell most people to not bother and just watch Miranda instead.

I watched the Pilot, I didn't see the orgiginal. But The Pilot wasn't funny. It felt like Mayim Bialik was on too much Red Bull

I tried, I really tired to watch this with an open mind, but it’s just not funny. Just bad dialogue and bad acting. It’s all very hokey. I enjoyed Miranda, but this is typical bad network sitcom... from Fox. Home of bad network sitcoms.

Watched the 2nd episode and while I'm still not really sure if I care, I enjoyed the 2nd better.

I really didn't like the first episode and will not continue. It felt forced and just wasn't funny.

I really like this cast but this was painful to watch, and I'm usually up for most anything.

Same. I can't say it won me over or anything, but the 2nd episode was better - they seem to have dropped a bit of the super-excessive 4th wall breaking. It was ridiculously distracting in the first episode when she was constantly doing it after nearly every line. It's still a bit much, but at least it isn't over-the-top silly as it was in the premiere.

It still isn't great. I'll watch the next one, only because there is almost nothing whatsoever new on at the moment sitcom-wise and I generally like Bialik. But I agree with most of the criticism, the cast is really trying way too hard to make up for some pretty ho-hum writing.

3rd episode down... and it's still just average. One more episode to go for the standard 4 episode test, after that I might keep watching at some point but for now I think I'll just wait until I need some background noise of something... and surely it's going to get cancelled, I see nobody talking about this at all lol Maybe they're just watching Miranda instead.

The one good thing about the first two episodes was that they didn't fall back on the use-an-episode-story-from-the-original that most US versions tend to do, but then this episode was close to the one where instead of going on a trip, Miranda just stays at a hotel around the block.

The second episode was better, but I'm torn. I already purchased the season before watching the Pilot, so I'm stuck with it either way.

I actually found this a lot funnier and better than Call Me Kat. I didn't pull the gun on buying this one though. Lesson learned until I see more.

I have watched all 4 episodes that have aired and I just don't know what to think. It seems like they are trying way to hard and every joke is falling flat. They really need to stop casting Swoozie, she has become a death sentence to sitcoms because she is not that good of an actress to begin with. IMO this show has cancelled written all over it. I do not see this show even making it to 13 episodes I predict it will be cancelled in the next few weeks to be honest. The cast just has NO chemistry together whats so ever...

Yeah, the ones with most chemistry are the 3 friends, but even then it doesn't really click.. but when the Kat and her mom and Kat and the guy she likes have no obvious chemistry, that's a problem. It doesn't help that Kat's storylines for 2 of the 4 episodes were basically using watered down Miranda storylines. The 4th wall breaks just seem forced and insincere, where on Miranda they were funny and charming.

I gave it the 4 episode test... but I'm just not sure what to think still. It's not BAD, but it's not good either. It's completely average and when it gets cancelled, it won't be remember except for something like "wait, they tried to remake Miranda in the US?! What were they thinking?" As it stands now, I'll just save the remaining episodes and watch when I have nothing else to watch or just for background noise, but if it gets cancelled before I watch them, I'll just completely drop them.

Swoosie Kurtz has been decent in a few things I've seen, but there is zero chemistry with her and the other cast in this.

to each his (or her own), it isn't great comedy, but at least it's charming and has a little heart - I'll have to watch the new episode over the coming weekend on Hulu.

Episode 5 was a new story again, and overall probably the best but literally the whole episode hinged on such a dumb action that nobody would do in real life,
