I finally bit the bullet. I placed an order with Screen Archives for:

Bedazzled
Gloria
The Long, Hot Summer
Manhattan Murder Mystery
Whirlpool
Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?

With shipping, they averaged out to roughly $17.30 per title.

I made my last sale contributions today, a total of two purchases per website:

Twilight Time (beginning of month):
The Long, Hot Summer
The Bravados

Screen Archives (beginning of month):
Anastasia
The Best of Everything

Twilight Time (end of month):
Inserts
The Panic in Needle Park
Rollerball
Pretty Poison
The Man in the Moon
Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice
Underworld, U.S.A.
Model Shop
No Down Payment
The Hot Rock

Screen Archives (end of month):
Doctor Dolittle
Gloria

I have at most six more movies in consideration, so the next sale will likely be my last (or their last, I regretfully say).

I have both Flaming Star and The Bridge at Remagen in limbo as we seem not be getting deliveries through to the UK now. I have an Indicator package in limbo too.

I hope I don't miss some stuff I really want. Since my business has gone belly up this last week, I hope to work out another way to bring in money to keep my love of TT movies going.

Hot Rock now below 10 copies at TT.com -- normally the last 10 seem to go pretty fast as it seems the resellers try to pick them off so I wouldn't expect this item to hang around too much longer. SAE still has stock just in case.
AutoFocus at 25 at TT.com

These two appear to have no international releases which tends to increase demand a bit

Sale on TT extended through April per email. There doesn’t appear to be any new price drops. TT will no longer issue coupons for reviews but will honor old ones. Looks like we’re coming to the end of the line.

Yes just got that email as well. I'm thinking they will extend the sale until they deplete their remaining stock...

I'm assuming this will apply to both sites, but I haven't seen confirmation at SAE yet

THE HOT ROCK -- now sold out at TT.com

May be on to something here. I was in the local used movie store (Movie Trading Company) and they had a large amount of TT blus in their original sealed packaging. They were marked up to crazy prices $22-29 per. But it appears that TT must be unloading stock to these retailers.

Unloading stock as in MOVIE TRADING COMPANY buying up batches for sale in their own store, not TT offloading stock directly to MTC

Received my Sunday 3/22 order today on Thursday 3/26 via USPS Priority Mail. I appreciate the Priority Mail, but would have preferred the cheaper option for Media Mail.

Since I had about $53 in Paypal funds from recent digital copy sales burning a hole in my pocket, decided to splurge...

-MY COUSIN RACHEL (1952)
14.95

-THE HOT ROCK (1972)
14.95

-WILD BILL (1995)
14.95

-THE PANIC IN NEEDLE PARK (1971)
14.95

-PLAY DIRTY (1968)
14.95

-GERONIMO: AN AMERICAN LEGEND (1993)
14.95

-BIG FIX (1978)
14.95

SUBTOTAL: $104.65
SHIPPING & HANDLING: $15.70
TOTAL DUE: $120.35

So, essentially $67 out-of-pocket expenses for seven TT titles ain't bad. All blind buys except for Geronimo, and that was way back in the VHS era 25 years ago, so I barely remember anything about it. That and Wild Bill will be nice to have for my Walter Hill collection. Panic In Needle Park is something I'd like to see for Al Pacino's first leading-man role, Play Dirty is a WWII actioner w/Michael Caine sporting a flamethrower (shades of The 14 Fists Of McCluskey ), Hot Rock has a great cast, is directed by Peter Yates and sports a Quincy Jones score, Big Fix I want to see because I'm a Richard Dreyfuss fan, and I've owned Franz Waxman's superb score to My Cousin Rachel for years on CD, so it'll be nice to see the images it was composed to support. And anything I end up not liking will make for good trade bait in the future once the TT well dries up for good and all of their OOP titles start going for absurd prices on eBay.
