Only Harvey is on Blu-ray. The other three movies aren't (and may never be IMO).

I almost paid $3 for a scratched up DVD of The Glenn Miller Story from Goodwill, so this was a no-brainer.

Walmart.com says it's $5.73 after pickup discount, but store pickup is not available.

And they wonder why people support the price-follower, Amazon, time and time again. I ordered it there and selected no-rush shipping for a $1 digital credit (YMMV). A better deal than Walmart overall.

None of these are on Blu-ray. I bought this set years ago, and watched Night Passage, which was a strange little movie with Jimmy Stewart and Audie Murphy.

You can rest easy buying this DVD, those remaining Jimmy Stewart movies are never hitting Blu-ray at this point.

Those are great deals.

I'm a huge Jimmy Stewart fan, so I actually have all of those titles from the larger collections they've been a part of. If you are also looking for collections with more prolific selections and are willing to spend a little more for it, then these are probably the ones that you might want to consider instead.

Also keep in mind the 4 movie marathon Universal current sets cram four films onto two discs. Some were originally dual layered and they are compressed down to single layer.

I could see The Far Country and Winchester '73 get BD releases. It's true that other than Criterion and Shout/Scream Factory Universal doesn't have many licensing deals with U.S. labels.

Amazon dropped this to $5.73. I paid slightly more. Not worth fussing over since we're talking cents and I got and already used a $1 no-rush digital credit.
