Looks like a typical cover/slip to me I don't go gaga over the artwork usually. But sometimes I take note of it.

I'm hoping this price drops SOON. December 4th is an expensive day, especially following by Black Friday purchases (Yeah, I'm mostly done shopping).

Timothy Green blind buy (with Amazon Coupon)
I want TNG Season 2 but likely cancelling

I hope Nemo 3D drops to about $26 at least, cause then with the earlier Amazon coupon I'll pay under $20

No, I think it looks spectacular If you are talking about the first picture, that's supposed to look like this since we're seeing them through the aquarium

It'll probably be like "BRAVE" and drop down to $27.99 to make it $19.99.

Just got done watching the DVD with my son and looking forward to seeing it on BD. I'm debating on if I'm going to pick it up through the Disney Club as one of my commitment movies or wait and see if I can find a deal on it. One of my 3 year olds favorite movies.

I wonder why Disney picked Dolby True HD instead of DTS-HD And is this the first Pixar release to sport Dolby True HD??

Brave and the newer Pixar shorts in Volume 2 are also Dolby TrueHD.

Pixar wants the best sound, that's why they were the first to adopt Dolby Atmos theatrically.

I think it's some sort of contract to use Atmos, but that's just me

Oops!! I forgot about Brave

So I'm guessing Disney will not use DTS-HD audio tracks anymore?? I do enjoy Dolby True HD now that I have a receiver that can handle Dolby True HD

What they use in the theater has no bearing on the home versions (other than channel configuration). You'll note there are now a few 20th Century Fox films in Dolby Atmos.

Pixar adopted the newest authoring tools.

Even though it doesn't say it's one of the new 96kHz-oversampling discs Brave hits over 10Mbps for the Dolby TrueHD 7.1 track at certain points...

I don't know if Disney & Pixar use the exact same authoring tools so it's entirely possible they will release in both formats, just as Paramount does.

I know, and they barely even mix in 7.1, I think Ice Age: Continental Drift was only there 3rd 7.1 movie and their (2nd?) in 7.1 native mix for the bluray
